I don't know who is driving this time around, but certainly not the regular testers.
And stop dissing on the RX-8. I love the Z for its speed and price, but I love the RX-8 for its nimble nature and overall fun factor. Gotta remember, how you rate a sports car is not all about 0 - 60 times.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mazda RX-8: 0 - 60: 5.9 Sec
Quarter Mile: 14.5 @ 95.6 mph
Top Speed:148 (Electronically Limited)
Nissan 350Z: 0 - 60: 5.4 sec
Quarter Mile: 14.1 @ 101.0 mph ('03 model)
Top Speed: 155 (Electronically Limiited)

Now, if you want to compare RX-8 and 350Z, the 350Z is clearly faster although both have similar top speeds. But don't compare the Titan and the Tundra to the RX-8....they certainly aren't passing it.

Proof? It can do better than 14.5 seconds in the quarter? Show me a link.
And check it out:

15.75 seconds in the 1/4 mile? My math skills may not be great, but I don't think that's faster than 14.5........

The Mustangs are kinda fat too (3500+lbs), which doesn't really help them in the quarter...

Obviously, they really must not like the 350Z at Car and Driver, for something other than straight line performance.

RSX is not faster than an RX-8. RSX type S isn't near as fast as an RX-8 either. From modernracer.com:
RSX Type S 0 - 60: 6.5
RX-8: 5.9
So nice attempt to down play the RX-8. Too bad you didn't do your homework beforehand.

lol. Just because I just started posting on this site doesn't mean I am uneducated.
And I didn't ask you whether or not you OWNED the car, I was replying to the fact that you didn't know where I received the imformation when I had clearly stated the location in the original post. Here, would this make it easier for you?
