im hoping this has not been asked to much, if so please ignore.. but im about 2 or 3 days away from getting my 2005 350z, i read all i could find but i dont think you can get all this info from an article so... i was just wanting to know from some real owners all the pro's and con's... thanks for the help

pros: its sexy
cons: its too sexy for some, and may cause instant blindness.

.... thats what im getting scared of, all im hering from people is how sexy the 350z is, that almost makes it sound like a pussy car.. i already know that its sexy but besides that whats makin it a better car then others??

Pussy car? .......its a complete bad ass.

Come on...its the perfect mix of looks and power for a good price. Hard to find that.

The search mod is the most effective and least understood of all mods...

listen to david, he has been around for a long time, there are a ton of guys on the forum that will help you if you do a bit of research first, there is a top 100 questions thread that you can read and learn more about the 350 in 10 minutes than you can anywhere else. its a fun car, enjoy.

Its very fast handles very good looks really nice sounds great the price is a steal. Only thing i dont like it doesnt make much horse power from NA mods but if you go FI thats a different story. You will be happy. Also dont listen to guys on here go check it out for your self and if you like it buy it. Go for a test drive in one and ill talk to you on here next time lol

Pros: Nice car.

The 2005 model doens't have much problems like the 03-04 so you should be fine.

My real answer to your questions depends on your personality. The Z is a sports car so it's supose to have sexy lines. Sports cars also have many minor problems. If you don't like to get your hands dirty and want an all around realiable everyday sports car, then you might want to get something else.

... if any of you missed it i did apologize if this was an over done topic, however, i am a brand new user so have not seen this topic before, i did use the search tool, i am not computer illiterate, but i did not find what i was looking for so decided to ask some owners about a car that i just purchased.. thank you to those who have shown some patience.. anyways, in the future you will not see to many questions from me, im more into reading and giving my opinion.. just a nervous new buyer

Nobody is going run down pros/cons because we have all done it so often we are tired of doing it.

If you like sports cars & you've driven the Z and like the way it drives, your making a good choice. As far as reliability goes, my 03 Z has been bullit proof reliable with only feathering as an issue. I've done all maintenance by the book & doubt I've spent $500 in total over 4 years.
