I just bought a new '07 Enthusiast $30k otd.
You're in the same boat I was. I figured with the small discount I'd see on a used Z, I might just as well get the new '07 with revised parts, engine, hood...totally worth it imho. So far so good (650miles ).

I Have The 06 Grand Touring, What I Can Tell You Is That My Brakes Sometimes Squeel In The Back, My Z Just Hit 4600 Miles This Morning And I've Had The Problem Since The Beginning But Honest Has Seemed To Have Gotten Better. No Excessive Oil Consumption Here Though....i Say Get It Man!!!!!

11k miles and no problems on my 6speed 06 enthusiast. It seems like some 06's have the oil consumption problem while others don't.

2006 enthusiast 6MT here with no major problems to report, other than the fact that I have a girlfriend of 5.5 years so I can't use the car to pick up chicks....but that's my challenge.

Personally, if a used model with low miles is not at least 5k cheaper than the new model, I would just buy the new model. I go with this rule for pretty much all cars around the Z's MSRP.

My friend bought a used 2003 WRX 2 years ago for 15k and had his engine go kaboom on him due to "rod knock". Cost him nearly $4000 just to get another "new" used engine. For the total cost, he might as well have waited and bought a new 06 with the 2.5L Turbo.

Just 1 major problem with a used car, and it makes it NOT worth it or rather it makes buying a new car worth it. I'd rather just save myself the headache.
