im pretty sure motor trend had pics of 370Zs coming out soon (not 380)
and the only change they had was a set of extremely ugly headlights that were about a inch and a half raised out of the body

IMO,
screws holding the lip is no good, looks real bad
there are many other nicer looking kits available
kudos from trying something different
around here anything outside of engine mods, you will get bashed
and deserve the stupid criticism of people who probably don't have the money to try what you had done
this image looks better i suppose because it is completely painted and what not.

So this was a car you acquired - then decided to make a project out of it - right? Fill me in to your story...
Basher's here assumed that you are a Z enthusiast where/so you get criticized for every little detail that you attach to their beloved Z.
You can't blame them. To them their Z is probably the only Z that they will ever have - at a time - where a car dealer can always buy more anytime - ofcourse if you have the $$$funding.
Basher's will shoot you to the ground, then the rest of the brood will feed in to the frenzy after that it really won't matter latter on how nice your ride comes out - they've shot you down already.
With that in mind - I suggest to finish the project first before posting more pics. fyi.
ps. Which auctions do you go to?
In San Diego or L.A.?

I havent read all 8 pages of this thread, but the Z posted on the first page with the kit on is positively hideous!! Why would anyone want to do that to their beautful car is beyond me. Some folks just cant leave well enough alone i guess, but it just doesnt make sense.
"Im going to take this beautfully designed car from the factory and just start throwing on molded plastic pieces so it can look like something from Fast and the Furious." LOL. Good freakin grief.
