You'd Be Stupid
Not to have the dealer put your new Z up on the rack and make sure that it is in proper alignment before you drive the car off the lot. This is the third Z I have owned (a 240z, a 260z and now a 350z) and ALL of them were substantially out of alignment on delivery. I have to think that some of these tire wear issues have to be caused by misalignment on delivery. When I bought my 260, I was so pissed that I had to get new tires at 8K miles -- so from then on, I have requested a print out from the dealer proving that the car is in alignment.
Just my 2 cents. |
Agreed,
Nissan straps the 350z's to the several cargo ships, using the front and rear suspension. Mine as way out of alignment upon delivery. Eric |
