Z's with problems
 

For you guys like myself that have numerous issues/problems with your Z... Please call 1-800-NISSAN1. I have taken my car to the dealership 4 times in the last 5 months. I still have problems and was told Nissan is not doing anything about some of my probelms. Of course the current TSB's have been performed. These are the problems I have had thus far. Some are fixed, some have no fix as of yet.

1. Suspension bounce
2. Tire Feathering
3. Poor Paint (chiping, orange peel, debris in the wheel well paint)
4. Seat issues (moving/rattling and extreme wear of the cloth)
5. Various other rattles (gauges, dash, R/V mirror, cup holder ect)
6. Grease streaks on both windows

When speaking to the Nissan rep she said the only issue they have on record is the tire feathering. I can't beleive they haven't heard about the other stuff? I guess what I'm saying is... If you want them to do something in the future... You better call today and get your complaints recorded.

Maybe this should be sticky and placed in a couple different forums?

In the Problems/Maintenace forum there are a few threads that are stickied at the top. I keep meaning to call about my suspension and door rattling problem but keep forgetting

I know there are a couple threads stuck but how many people really go in there? I know I have only gone in there a couple of times compared to the general Section or Modification section. My point is to call. Nissan will do nothing unless they have a barrage of calls/complaints. I still can't beleive people haven't complained more about the suspension bounce?

I have come to the conclusion Nissan Motor corp could care less about us and our complaints. This is judging by all of the issues/complaints that are basically ignored by NMC. here over at Maxima.org and Altima.net.

I have not noted one single defect in my Z. Sure some will surface, but, I have pretty bad orange peel on my BMW 530. You have to know what orange peel is to even notice it. Anyway, I hope you get some of these issues resolved.

When I bought my car I didn't notice any of these poblems. As soon as I hit 2K miles they started surfacing. As far as the paint, I didn't notice that until is got warm and I washed the car myself:(
Since than it has been all down hill.
But I still love the way the car looks.
