I have scraped my front lip on stock height on a steap parking lot. I have clear bra on my front bumper and lip and the scrape didn't do any damage to my lip, it actually all rubbed off with a cloth. The stuff is incredibly tough and can be removed and replaced in the future if you end up scraping the hell out of it.

I dont have my z lower but my VW is about an inch and a half lower and sits on a H&R cup kit. Its really stiff... So when I get around the San Jose airport on 101 all the bumps and **** almost knock my teath out.

I feel you about the San Jose Airport. Those are nuts. Im looking at some Tein springs for the Z. But I don't know now from what I've read. Our freeways are so messed up. Especially by my house. 101 and the Blossom Hill rd. exit.

When i was on sportlines the lower bracing right before the rear wheels would scrape everywhere, maybe your mistaking it for the exhaust.

when driving a lowered car, you cannot be a perfectionist, you must expect to scrape at some point but know that the scrapage cannot be seen. you must learn to keep your anger to a minimum when scraping as to not scare the passenger sitting next to you.

I learned how to drive a lowered car with much practice from my Civic! Come to think of it, that **** was so low I could fit my boots under it!

My fear is big speed bumps. There are some obscenely big speed bumps around here, and they are the type that look like a semi circle rather than a gentle slope, so I always scraped the Y-pipe of my exhaust on it unless I took it at extreme angles.
Now, I have a flat bottom car, so if I scrape anything, it's the entire body panel so I take things really slow.

Living on LI, I dont see much sense in lowering the car. I prefer not to squirm every 30 seconds when I hear a scrape or a thunk.

On NF210s, had a veilside V1 lip but it was too much of a pain, I could barely get out of my parking lot. Not too bad without the lip.
Do the same as everyone else, take it slow and at an angle, avoid going over any trash in the road, drive slow when in an unfamiliar neighborhood/parking lot, etc.

My car (a lowered Acura TL) scrapes every once in a while, usually when I don't slow down enough before a driveway or something because of oncoming traffic. My best advice is to take things slow!
