So the Z can be had fairly cheap insurance wise. Don’t complain too much, it has the make of a lot of young drivers that crash them, and not the greatest crash numbers. A lot of these threads I constantly see under $100 a month...

That’s what I paid on a 1995 Explorer...

Secondly you could take away the fatal wrecks, and the bad crash stats and but BMW in front of it and still pay more. When I called up USAA wondering why I thought my bill was high, they replied it was the B, M, and W. lol.

Now as for the people paying 300+ a month on insurance... wow, that’s getting close to a healthy sized car payment.

FYI same setup with a 2007 350z (thus is worth the same $$$ as my bmw) would be $280 cheaper a year.

I'm with State Farm and the rate will slightly increase and decrease every other months by +/- $2-4 -- nothing to complain about. I am paying about $720 every six months (averaging about $120-$125 per month) for Full Coverage.

So Fla here. I have a 03 Touring 350z that I have had for 2 years now. I pay $140 a month. It has fluctuated a couple of times, but never more or less than $10-$20. I am 24 years old with a horrendous driving record (multiple pages of tickets....). I have had two claims on my insurance, one for $1500 (new paint due to a keying) and one for $2700 (H3 cut me off) I have a $500 deductable and have my insurance is with Statefarm. To put it into prespective, my Fiance drives a Mini Cooper and she pays $110 but with a super clean record. My insurance would have to triple before I get rid of my baby.... (and even then it would be really difficult!)

you guys paying over $200 a month....did ya look around or do you just have bad records? Cause you can state that, lets say Gieco is trying to get my to pay $1200 every 6 months...other companies will try and beat that most of the time..at least in my experience...If you must go your 6 months then change companies...youll get a much lower rate.

When I first got my Z progressive tried to get me for $230 a month...I went to allstate and they dropped it to half that a month.after being with progressive for 1 year..

i only pay like a little over $300 a year, but its not my daily driver. i only have liability. it would have been about 5X that for full coverage.

Everyone says "USAA", but what the hell, they have NEVER given me a better rate than the usual suspects like Geico, Allstate I am with Allstate right now for $625/ 6 months full coverage, and USAA was offering me $1150 But my insurance rates did go up for the Z, like by $16 per 6 mos.
