70% chance I'm getting rid of my Z...

Well, it is true... after only 3 wonderful months, the time to get rid of the Z may be upon me.

With ever increasing gas prices (estimates put it at $5/gal. this summer), high insurance, high depreciation, and high monthly payments, I just can't bear the cost anymore.
I might be switching over to a Civic Hybrid but only if the numbers are right.

The Z has long been my attainable dream car and it pains me to do it but one's gotta do what one's gotta do...

well you gotta live within your means...if you can't afford it, then the smart thing to do is to get something you can afford
good luck with your decision

The 350Z is not for everyone. Do what you have to do.

very true what Dave said

How did you arrive at the 70% probability factor?

Deftones Apr 24, 2008 07:29 AM

Only 3 months? Wow. That's how long it took me to find out that my door cupholders had lights in them.

RedBullRR Apr 24, 2008 07:34 AM

You have door cup holders?

terrasmak Apr 24, 2008 07:37 AM

Its probably ganna cost him more getting rid of it than keeping it since he just bought it.

hahaha 70% was a ballpark figure. I still have some numbers to run to see what is more beneficial.

Overall, but if you don't have the cashflow, gotta sell. I assume the payments/insurance haven't changed since you bought it. An extra $10-gas/week is causing this????? Too bad, cause here in Miami, we get to drive this wonderful car 7/52.

06 up. They are kinda useless. All it does for me is hold my unopened can of Redbull in the Morning.
