It's sad really...I guess thats the "responsible" thing to do though. Buy a high performance car and drive it like a Versa. Lowers the chances of damage and being called a dumbass though!
I hit 146 on the I10 in Phoenix racing a TL Type S, which had pretty impressive top end...Highway started to bank so I got scared and let off. Car was very stable though. Zero lift FTW.

LMAO...Anything over 90MPH on a New England Highway, the probability of a bent wheel, blown tire, chassis/suspension damage, getting cut off or being ambushed the the state fuzz is damn near 100% !

Went a tad over 160 while datalogging in my Evo. ****ing insanely scary.
I often do runs up to 150 while datalogging. For some reason, that extra 10mph crosses the line between extremely fun and satisfying to extremely retardedly scary.

On the track, I've had it up to 147 on the front straight of Miller MotorSports Park, right before I used the "hand of god" aka, my ST-60/ST-22 front/rear stoptechs, before I went through turn one at about 90 or so.
The track is for driving fast, the streets are for being safe. You might think you are the best drifter/racer/whatever in the world, but you can't control what that old lady in the Plymouth Valiant is going to do, or that little girl behind the parked car on the side of the street.
