Daniel Heraud is on crack
Read Daniel Heraud's Nissan 350Z Review. I've seen it many times, but finally read it. Just read it and see what you think.

Apparently, this guy can't even drive an automatic to save his life; 0-60 7.1 seconds; quarter mile 15.3. Is he sure he was driving a Z? This guy seems a little too wound up about the things that make the Z a sports car. I mean, it is a two-seater you should expect it to have a limited amount of cargo space and the interior styling is a subjective matter. Personally, I like it a lot.

I think this is my favorite:
Price/Equipment: The 350Z is quite expensive despite its list of standard equipment. Finish and interior presentation are not as good as those of its German rivals and it is also less powerful than the latter.
Quite expensive? Less powerful than its German rivals? Which German rival is it less powerful than? The German cars he lists as the Z's competition are the TT and the MB CLK-class. I'm pretty sure we have more power than those. And of course those have better finish and interior presentation, they're a hell of a lot more expensive. Not sure why the Z gets a 25% on this one.
Also, why does he only list three trim levels? Are they doing away with base and enthusiast in '04, or is this further proof that he really didn't research this well? I guess his 0-60, 1/4 mile times, and braking distance really tell us what he knows. I mean, that 60-0 braking distance looks more like the 70-0 distance, not the 60-0.
I don't think he'd be happy with my grade on his review.

Yeah, that guy missed several obvious points. Things that are matter of fact.
Like many reviews, I don't mind when they are wrong and lower the score of Zs. It means less people buying and more rare.

i don't get his review:
he lists as a pro
roomy cabin and trunk
and says the cabin room is suprisingly roomy etc, yet gives it a 30% rating? uh.....??
"Performance: In an era where driving fast can prove to be costly, the 350Z accelerates and passes quickly, perhaps too quickly in light of today's traffic conditions. "
did anyone else laugh at this? passes too quickly? LOL

Passing to quickly??? Maybe that was his 1/4 mile trouble. The car was shifting to quickly and had to let off the throttle to compensate.
Give me a car that passes to quickly any day. Also, how can a car pass to quickly and be low on performance?
this is all to confusing

I read this after I purchased my Z and I re-read it to make sure he was talking about the 350Z. I was like "What the ....?" There are idiots and then there is Mr. Heraud. I would rather be an idiot.

Dan is the worst of the three reviewers on MSN Autos. All of his times are faulty. I look at his crap for a laugh. He must test speedgoing up a hill and do brake testing down a hill.
