Are most dealers only getting a couple Z's in the first shipment? I thought they were supposed to get like their "first alotment" in the first shipment. Does anyone know how soon after dealers will be getting other shipments?

My dealer's original alotment (did I spell that right?) was three cars. They were then given 5 and sold all of them right away. Now they've been told by the a.g.m. to just go ahead and sell as many as they want, they'll get them.... eventually.

My point is here that Nissan seemed to be ok upping their original allotment (there's that word again).

The first allotment, regardless of how many cars the dealers where alloted are to be delivered between Aug. & Oct. That's the way it's been since day one. Nothing about first allotment...first shipment.
If dealers where given additional cars after the first allotment then those will be delivered Nov - Jan.

Quite a few of the preorder folks are being told they won't get their cars until November and even December. The Nissan dealer I used will get 1 car in September, 3 in October and hopefully the remaining 3 in November. All of these cars are from the first "allotment." The Nissan dealer in Redwood City, CA says he is going to be getting 3 or 4 cars that are being unclaimed by other dealers, perhaps preorders whose owners backed out before the cars were delivered.

I just looked thru the Nissandriven Site.. and it shows several 350Z's with VINs in Las Vegas.. THERE COMING!!

My Dealer told me in January that he would be getting 3 cars the last week in Aug., 10 cars in Sept., and 9 in October for a total allocation of 21.

As of today, he has received 2 cars, both Touring models. One of these is for the General Manager. (surprise, surprise)

It looks as though they had pretty good information, even then.
