I just have a extension chord for the outlet between the seats.. it breaks out into 4 plugs.. and has a little red light..haha..

they are like 4 bux..

So the new Nav door IS electric, if the car has the Nav system. I don't like the door without the Nav. It just flips up? I really prefer the way the '03 door works.

The AC outlet is really nice. I wish they'd have done that from the start.

The visor extensions aren't important to me at all.

Thanks, sparky3Z...

I want a visor extension, I wonder how much a new visor would be? I'm sure it'd have the same screw holes, you think?

And the power outlet -- I WANT THAT TOO!

This sucks! I NEED that power outlet. How much do you think it would cost to install it?

Beaker02 Aug 19, 2003 10:37 AM

Why not simply mount a couple of outlets in the lower dash. Couldnt be that hard.

Reggi914 Aug 19, 2003 11:12 AM

So the nav door is the same, except it does not fold into the dash, it sticks out? I dont think thats nice, i like it more if its folded into the dash. How is that door electric?

Here's a pic of the '04 Nav. door when it's open. Haven't seen the "electric" one yet.

pmturcotte Aug 19, 2003 12:18 PM

I think that looks terrible sticking out like that glare or not.

rouxeny Aug 19, 2003 02:39 PM

Ugh, looks terrible. I much prefer my 03 sticky one.

I wonder about retrofitting the sun visors. It REALLY bothers me how cheap ours feel.

pmturcotte Aug 19, 2003 02:43 PM

I wonder about retrofitting that door, you think that would be possible? I dont care about whether it is electric or not, I'd rather have a manual door I can shove all the way open, anyone that has it, the way its built is that possible?

zwindsor Aug 19, 2003 03:14 PM

If the interior Nav. box can be changed out you possibly could do it but just to change the door....can't be done...total different mounting/pivot design.
