if it does get parted out, dibs on the tail lights (i still got the older model) and the passenger door (because sooner or later i will see yet another ding in my passenger door and they will make the mistake of staying there parked next to me and i will need a new passenger door due to the fact that my current will become a weapon of insurmountable wrath against the offenders vehicle. just saying.)
whats it got under the hood btw? not to downplay your ability to repair such a car, but just coverin the bases ya know?

I actually got a really good deal on it. I paid $10,000. It's an 08 with 14,000 miles on it. Here are some more pics of it. The repair is being done at my dad's shop. We removed the rear quarter, front fender and the door. The damage isn't as bad as it seems as you'll see in the pics. I'm getting the door and the front fender for free from an 06 Z that's being scrapped by a friend of mine. I just need to buy the rear quarter panel and do some pulling of the sub-frame.
The parts (including paint) will run me about 3k to 4k. Labor will be done by me and the ppl at the shop. So the total cost will be about 14k for the whole car which is way below the price i would've paid for that model with that amount of miles.

You're actually a really big idiot. $13,000 would of gotten you a non-totaled 2003-2004 350z.
Its gonna cost you a lot more then "3-4k" for the parts and the paint, unless you're going to do a wonderful Maaco job on it.

Yes, Idiot.
Here I'll break it down for you, line by line;
Er no, its a totaled Z with quite a bit of damage to the driver side. The entire aluminium frame looks like it was entirely pushed in, making the roof, front/rear body frame all wonderfully bent up.
The new pics you posted shows that the damage is just as bad as it looks, the whole side of the body is caved in
Does this include all the body below the fenders?
You think you're going to bend the subframe back? Really? Its aluminum, good luck with that.
What parts? Who is painting? You?
You're in for a lot more then 14k. Last time I checked, you can buy a use 2007z for around 18-22k. Wow what a big savings.

I'll continue to keep you guys updated with pics on how the project is coming along. I'll also post up the final cost of parts when the project is complete.
