Default Spring Face Lift

6 years from when this thread started..... Car isn't running at this point still there has been a lot of damage done to the car from it sitting in the shop for the last 4 years but it will be out and when it is it will be better than ever! I have a dream again! I have a new passion for the car and it goes by the name of ROCKET BUNNY!

exterior modifications done. new bumper is painted just waiting for the weekend for it to be slapped on. Wheels will be back in soon. Check out the new bumper from DownForceUSA more cf goodness

Updates idk what page it is up to now. I have it on page 3 with maximum post per page.
I took some time today and did a photoshoot with my new to me D40

UPDATES PAGE 4 WOW! It's comming together!

UPDATES ON PAGE 3 woot! LEMME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!

UPDATE pics on page 2

Just some stuff getting done to my Zed..... KEEP IN MIND THIS IS FOR TEST FITTING PURPOSES ONLY.... I AM NOT DRIVING AROUND WITH MY CAR LOOKING LIKE THIS BEFORE SOMEONE SAYS SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

I bought my car used with no warranty so pretty much everything was on me to fix. But I got the CD009 Tranny... Carbon Kevlar stage 2 clutch. And some other good ness to make it look purty....

Some test fitting before things went to the paint booth.

And as far as the front bumper goes... Yes. I have a grill for it. Yes. I know I will have to paint the bumper support. Yes. It has a huge *** opening which will one day be filled up with a nice intercooler.

Gimme your .02 some will like some won't ... I am going for a subtle carbon fiber look. Like the back hatch the hood is getting painted. I didn't have any pics but the under side of the hatch is painted as well. So the hood will be as well. I am leaving just the "cowl" of the hood carbonfiber. Not sure if I am keeping the cf intake duct yet or not. But it is a possibility.

I would say I am very happy with the fitment on everything. I paid a pretty penny for each and Paying the extra definately was worth it.
I got the clutch from TH Motorsports, Hood from IntensePete, and Front Bumper from downforce.biz

Not sure yet. There is a pretty good possibility I will though. Just to tie things in a little better. I might have someone do a photo chop and paint it so I could see what it would look like.

Correct. It was a Silver 600rr and I had it painted 2006 Honda Element Kiwi Metallic. It's a phenominal color. I am getting everything on it powdercoated a Candy Copper. 2 vehicle projects and a fiancee are keeping the money tight though.

Thanks for the props. The hood is a Seibon. I got it from Intensive?Pete on here. From something motorsports. Great people to work with. As I get the other stuff done I will be posting pics. Here are a couple more.

I am getting the hatch put on this thursday. I am very excited about that. The paint guy will be working on the front bumper and the hood over the next 2 weeks. The guy who did the paint on the hatch is BLUE from BLUE KUSTOMS in Tampa, Fl. Amazing guy, great prices, good people.

Thanks. I want a clean ride. I like the weight reduction and that it adds a little something to the Stock look.
