Default Mysterium, thanks for the page!

That daytona blue is my VIN! woohoo!

But i called this morning and no cars are there now. It might be on a transport in route to Star. But I had an appointment tonight with the finance mgr to leverage my peoplefirst loan to get a better % rate. So who knows, we both may be driving home tonight.

Too bad the forecast in NYC for the whole weekend is RAIN. :/

Default So is it guaranteed today delivery?!?

I thought the consensus on my350z was 1-2 days after they saw their VIN on Nissandriven, for delivery. I am hoping its today!

Can someone please pass along the full web address to check on VIN numbers or cars that have arrived at dealers. I go to nissandriven.com but am unsure where to go from there..

Thanks in advance..

Although you cannot do a VIN lookup specifically, you can use www.nissandriven.com and view inventories by dealer at any given zip code. There is a thread here on this forum that discusses this in more detail, but check it out.

Default i just spoke to Star Nissan...

Said the car wasnt there and that the standard procedure is for the car to be sent to their warehouse in Jamaica, Queens for prep. Then sent to the dealer.

My sales rep called the warehouse to make sure no front plate was installed.

Star Nissan said delivery today was unlikely and to expect after the holiday. grrrrrrr.

Sooooo close!

Default wow.

And I thought that they were being prepped at port, hasn't it been sitting there for almost a week?

How much prepping does these cars need???

Default i was always skeptical about spoilers and other options being...

installed at the port. The people who work there are not paid or trained to install Nissan Parts. So my guess is that they literaly just sit there and wait for the trucks to return back and pick up cars.

Then each dealership preps the car themselves.

But i am not an expert.

Default Mysterium! I called their prep center. they prep it in their service center. UGH!

I had to remind the service manager not to drill holes. Thank god cuz my sales rep said he told them, but apparently communication btwn the two are non existant!

Caesar is a cool guy and he told me that the cars take 1 hour to prep. So the day its delivered to them is the day we should get car.

Ask for Caesar and have the last 6 digits of your VIN.
