Good thing my Z is hibernating over the winter, she'd hate me if I told her I blew the tranny on my winter beater yesterday and now have to spend her wheel funds replacing it.

OK, get yer coats on, it's chill in here!
You know how awesome you are when you use the same stuff you use on your Z to detail your appliances.
Or, in my case, OCD or just plain stupid. ('specially since the appliances are kept covered when not in use... cars don't even get that treatment! )
Oh, what'd I do to my cars? Uhhhhh, detailed one of 'em while waiting for my laundry to dry. But compared to the washer, zzzzzzzzz....

I tried this stuff called F11 that one of our distributors at work dropped off. I gotta say- it's pretty amazing.
It's water based, can be used on everything from: glass, paint, plastic, rubber, seals, etc.
Has a nice hydrophobic Rain-X like beading affect on the windshield. Black trim pieces around window sills, rear window, and hood cowl were instantly darker and more rich and stayed that way. I noticed a big bird **** on my hood walking out one morning to go to work- the car was wet with dew. By the time I got to work the bird poop had slid right off. YES.
Goes on more like a "glaze" (Kinda reminded me of when I used Turtle Wax Ice at first. Though unlike ice, it doesn't require seventy passes to buff back off.) The best result was using a damp microfiber to apply it and a dry plush cloth to chase it.
Please excuse the nasty-*** driveway- renting. Time to buy a pressure washer.

Found some Swift Spec-R springs on a Facebook group for a good deal. Went ahead and placed the order for some Bilstein's this afternoon.
And now we wait

Checked all the fluids today and found a light very thin layer of white-ish residue on top of the coolant in the res. Then I saw white specs in the radiator fluid. I just had the system flushed a few days ago and about 2 weeks ago head a a leakdown/comp test that turned out great. Going to Nissan tomorrow.

Semi forgot what mirrors are and I had to dive into the median to get out of the way, spun out and slid almost on to the opposite road. Somehow everything is fine. But she needs a good wash today, mud everywhere.

Glad everything is O.K., that could have been bad.
