I feel accomplished. I just replaced my drivers window motor twice! Not fun.

I first pulled it apart cleaned the motor by hand with a rag and compressed air to remove the gunk and buildup, tested it out after cleanup and worked like a charm. I put it back together all buttoned up window goes down ok then gets stuck all the way down. Rinse and repeat but with the new motor this time it worked.

installed a DMH electric cutout between the resonator and muffler. I know this is frowned on by the purists, but I wanted the exhaust system to be stock for cruises with my wife (we are old), but wanted some noise when I'm out doing the twisties by myself.

Interesting, What exhaust is this paired up with? How is it controlled? Where does the exhaust flow when closed?

When it is closed the exhaust routes out the totally stock system. When it is open it routes out the bypass. This will be controlled by a rocker switch located in the console. The bypass is infinitely controllable in that it can be opened up any amount you want. The less it is opened the more gases are forced through the muffler, making it quieter.

Ordered a Z1 single cat-back today, can't wait to install it this weekend.

Only things left on my "mod" list is Bilstien shocks, a sway bar, and a lot of seat time.

Currently in the middle of installing lowering springs. The rears were a breeze, but taking the top hat off the front struts to swap springs has made my progress come to a screeching halt. Taking the strut assemblies to the shop tomorrow to use air tools, since I just don't have the strength to tighten the coil springs down enough.

Dumb question but.... you ARE compressing the springs to remove and install the upper mount, yes?
