Looks GREAT. Now keep your distance to like 50 yards behind everyone on the road, or get the clear bra.

EDIT: Seeing someone making a heat-shield for their aftermarket-intake. Reminds me to try wrapping my aluminum tubing (Injen Long CAI) in gold-reflective to cool it down and see if it does anything. Might be fiberglass-silver reflective wrap is what I want.

As long as the acrylic+plastic mating surfaces aren't destroyed, you can use clear silicone to re-seal them. Yeah, you need a drill. So here's your chance to join the power tool party. That's how I've acquired most of my power tools; on a need now basis. As far as the Injen CAI.. Eh, I prefer OEM or Aftermarket set-ups that utilize plastic tubing because of the slower rate of heat soak that those set-ups present as opposed to their metallic counterparts. What I don't like about the OEM set-up is the pleated paper filter media. As they tend to be more restricting compared to the cone type filters offered by most aftermarket set-ups. But don't get me wrong, tho, cuz those Injens look hot.

I pulled off my mickey ear wrap job and sanded down my ugly antenna spot, then through another band aid over it... Good from far and far from good.

Also royally screwed up my wiper hole with fiberglass resin... And did some work on my pet project bumper

I'll look around for something for $40-$50. Only to be used on drilling in through walls (in home) and polishing/buffing. Worried about stripping bolts and what not with power tools.

For sure, the long-tube Injen really gets hot after a while, I can barely keep my hands on them. I mean, I love the look of the long-tube intakes, I just want to provide a way to suppress the heat out a little longer.

The clear bra for the bumper sounds like a good idea, I can look around my local shop to get quotes. But I am planning to keep that bumper and few other add-ons soon to arrive for about a year or two before making a big change (my end-goal "look").

- You can pick one up at Lowe's/Home Depot for like $30 bucks. And I wouldn't let the possibility of stripping a nut/bolt deter you from getting a drill. It might happen, it might not. As long as you have some common sense you'll be good.
- I personally can't justify spending money on a 'cold air intake' only to wrap it in heat tape thereafter. But I hear what you're saying; they do look good, yes, and since you've already pulled the trigger and bought them, I'd say your options now would be to either wrap them or revert back to OEM.
- Clear Bra info. Try www.xpel.com I've had good results with them. Resists yellowing longer than 3M.
