Won Best Mild Z33 at ZdayZ, now the Hotchkis sways go on. Gonna have to relearn the car, the bars are much larger and stiffer. This will be fun!

Nice! Ive got some Hotch sways and really like the settings, I think you'll enjoy. When you tighten them up, it may take some getting use to. For me it felt much stiffer even just going in a straight line.
I would recommend buying a washer to put on both sides of the sway when you install. Mine didnt come with any and the paint is pretty badly screwed up around the endlinks because of it. Been meaning to put a washer on those things.
JHC has it right. Unless one knows pretty much what they're doing - especially where it concerns oversteer - I recommend an initial aftermarket sway bar setting of full "soft" (holes closest to end of bars). I italicize "soft" because that's a misnomer.... even the "soft" setting on Hotchkis, Eibach, etc. adjustables is stiffer than OE to start with and will tighten up the cornering abilities immensely.
Get used to them (doesn't take that much), explore limits where its safe to do so, THEN and only then, make adjustments to where you need the car to be for your use.
By the way, it's always good to keep the following in mind when tuning roll stiffness:
TO INCREASE OVERSTEER (reduce understeer):
STIFFER REAR BAR SETTING (relative to the front bar), "softer" bar setting on the FRONT.
Counter intuitive it seems, yes? But the point is to have the rear stiffer so that it allows the rear tires to reach their maximum slip angle faster (before the front) and run closer to limit of adhesion (and beyond at times if not careful ). It is counter intuitive in that many like to run their cars WITHOUT a rear bar (autocross and such) but that relates to turn in response moreso than overall steering attitude (under, over, neutral steer).
All in all though, have fun setting them up! Best part of adjustable gear.

Thanks Trav, preesh the input! Just looked at my bars and the adjustments are 4 FR, 3RR. I'm not going to do a 2-stage learning curve on this. Get my new MPSS4s, set it, deal wit it.

Thx Mic, always solid advice.My ZR is almost complete. Bilstein B8s, Eibach Pros, Hotchkis and Whiteline, and Z1 Camber arms. After my tires go on, may just get some track lessons!

True story I actually consider it a win if I go out with the same amount I went in with... It hardly works out that way.
On a positive note headers and cats have been on with all new 02 sensors for the last 700 miles and the car hasn't overheated, thrown a code or spontaneously blown up yet.
I know I should get it tuned but I haven't done it yet... And I am not very concerned about any additional power I don't even use the available power.
So if I shave the rear calipers I can fit 15" weld wheels? Or is that custom set?
It's not that simple, I would recommended not doing it, because the connecting o-ring and fluid passageway between both sides of the caliper will have to get fabricated. I have a large arsenal of tools and tig weld and have had to reshape and fab the caliper to accommodate it. Ive shaved a large amount off the caliper and there is 2-3 mm of clearance at best in certain spots.
I am doing it as a yolo and have base brakes as a backup. It could very well not work or fail. Not really anyone doing it, so its a garage project for me
Called discount yesterday after waiting a week for my kuhmo ecsta ps91's to arrive. They call backnand inform me that the fronts are on back order but they weren't made aware by kuhmo. Bummer.
So to make the situation right they upgraded me to the continental xtreme contact sports at no extra charge.
They overnigh5 shipped them and theyre being put on now.
Keep in mind that tgey originally price matched tire rack on the kuhmos.
I'm paying $800 drive out.
I cantvsay enough goid things about this particular discount tire.
Second time since i had the Z that they hooked me up!!! Not to mention my previous two cars.
