My favorite Asian (next to my wife of course)...

"I cook you de wahn tahn, chow mein, spicy clab.... hold the insects. Be like waaaaater."

If you look carefully, the jacket reads "Datsun Dim Sum" and the toque is embroidered "Z Chef". My friends have senses of humor as stupid and depraved as mine.

Oy. I am old enough to remember. The last whitewashed Asian in film and television. Hahahahahahaha. If you don't know what that means, go look it up. By the way, did you know that David Carradine died from "erotic asphyxiation"? Dazwhack.

And yes, this thread has been thoroughly derailed, mostly my fault. Sorry.

So, I drove my 33 today to a Z specialty shop - to discuss a couple things I don't want to do to my other Z, does that count for anything in bringing the thread back or are y'all having too mush fun?

So much fun, I just got home from driving my 33 to the grocery store, ran like a champ.

Also got these in the mail today, maybe I'll see if they work tomorrow.

Why? boredom/cabin fever - Don't drive it in the rain or snow, have never used the wiper and it's kinda ugly

Whelp.... here we go again. The old "wiper delete" thing. I've said it a thousand times but once more won't hurt...

"I don't get it."

Maybe I'm not so hung up on the looks or something but I never even notice the wiper. AND, I use mine. Just yesterday matter of fack. But I have no issues with people wanting to do it - same as the whole "shorty antenna" thing - but for me, I just don't feel a need to waste my time on that stuff.

Guess I'm in the minority on these things.

Additionally, I need a new blade cus it's OLD, falling apart and don't want to spend the money on something I never use. Come on Mic, Mario didn't need wipers - RainX

I don’t drive Betty in the rain or snow either and I just figured - Well, you can barely see out of the back window anyways, might as well lose a couple pounds.

Unconventional ball joint removal, I messed this one up because the pin was stuck in their and I couldn't remove the lower control arm, so I had to cut open the boot and use vice grips to get it off...

This came from the 40k mile car, whats the opinion on if I should swap them both or just use the other oem one thats still perfectly fine?

I'm leaning towards replacing them both, I do have 2 new ones laying around, they are mevotch ms30500 made in china ball joints that I pucked up because they were cheap, but they seem like a quality part, and even have a grease fitting.

That was just one bad occurrence out of a hundred good ones, and since it happened last month it was just fresh in my mind.. So again. My bad.

Yeah, I'd replace them both too. I just grabbed a pair of NTN rear wheel bearings and OEM seals for that special occasion when the factory bearings on my car decide to implode. As long as I'm doing the rear-end, I might as well be thorough about it. I've always been told that you should replace parts in pairs when you're dealing with suspension components (unless you're broke.)

I LOVE the rear wiper and use it all the time, in fact I wish more cars had them. I understand why people remove them - so it looks sleeker (provided they do the necessary body work), but the loss of functionality isn't worth it.

But the antenna? It was one of the first mods I did because I nearly put an eye out trying to unload the hatch one day. It's just in a bad location and looks stupid... to me I even have a shorty on my Dodge truck because I got tired of that dumb thing whipping back and forth on the highway. Plus who listens to AM/FM radio anyway these days.
