My favorite Asian (next to my wife of course)...
"I cook you de wahn tahn, chow mein, spicy clab.... hold the insects. Be like waaaaater."
If you look carefully, the jacket reads "Datsun Dim Sum" and the toque is embroidered "Z Chef". My friends have senses of humor as stupid and depraved as mine.
Oy. I am old enough to remember. The last whitewashed Asian in film and television. Hahahahahahaha. If you don't know what that means, go look it up. By the way, did you know that David Carradine died from "erotic asphyxiation"? Dazwhack.
And yes, this thread has been thoroughly derailed, mostly my fault. Sorry.
So, I drove my 33 today to a Z specialty shop - to discuss a couple things I don't want to do to my other Z, does that count for anything in bringing the thread back or are y'all having too mush fun?

Well one always needs to be more difficult, only minor scars though overall ill say it was a success.
For anyone with a shop press that is interested these will work if you use your imagination... Worked a lot better than when I didn't have them thats for sure.

Let's bring the thread back to focus on the Z33. I've been sick all week and didn't have a chance to post yet, but this is from my trip over Christmas/New Years.
Just a 2 minute detour off the 101 HWY got us here.

My new rear wheel bearings arrived last night. I lifted the rear of the car and re-tested the current bearings and they seem fine. These will just go in my new parts bin, seeing as I don't plan to get rid of the car anytime soon. On inspection, the NTN bearings seem to be nice pieces and it's my understanding the car came with this brand from the factory - I know, that shouldn't instill any significant amount of confidence in them given their reputation for failure. The new hub seals are on the way from Amazon, so that should take... oh... 3 months or so.
There's still no rear clunk to report, so I think it's fair to say the loose left tail lamp assembly was the culprit. I'm betting it wasn't re-installed properly when I had my rear bumper re-sprayed last year and it slowly worked itself loose under the weight of the rear hatch. I checked the right side assembly and did a pre-emptive fix and re-torque to make sure that the problem doesn't eventually make its way to that side as well.
This weekend I'm taking a break from the car, except to drive it to the Cinerama to see the (not so) new Star Wars. I like seeing movies there because Paul Allen always puts out original costumes for his display from the first trilogy. Where else can you go to see Star Wars while buying your popcorn right next to the Darth Vader outfit from The Empire Strikes Back?

Dont tread on us!
Whelp.... here we go again. The old "wiper delete" thing. I've said it a thousand times but once more won't hurt...
"I don't get it."
Maybe I'm not so hung up on the looks or something but I never even notice the wiper. AND, I use mine. Just yesterday matter of fack. But I have no issues with people wanting to do it - same as the whole "shorty antenna" thing - but for me, I just don't feel a need to waste my time on that stuff.
Guess I'm in the minority on these things.

The intellectual psychohistory and emotional redundance exuded by the myalgic and stereoscopic SLMV is demonstrable with abhorrence in regards to dispensation which is then plasmatically compounded and further redacted by derivative melancholy and introspective contemplation.
Without stipulation of verisimilitude the correlation must not imply causation against the RWDSAF, and heretofore, defaulted judgement of the URWFAP is reactionary, inflammatory and underwhelmingly malicious.
Plus the wiper delete stubby antenna mods look badass.

We, the rear-wiper deleted modified-antenna folk (RWDMAF) hereby demand an end to the senseless intolerance and ridicule perpetuated by the untouched rear-wiper factory antenna peoples (URWFAP) and their superfluous leader MicVelo (SLMV).

I dropped off some parts at the body shop
Gonna finally get around to having some stuff put on the car. That and get the bodywork fixed from the guard rail in September. The kitchen looks a lot bigger without the aerosync bumper in it, as well as the spoiler and chargespeed side skirts under the dining table. Lol
