What have you done for your Z today?
today I finally drove mine on a midnight run, It's been parked for the past 3 weeks since the area I live it has been snowing and in the teens for that amount of time. Today, however, I caught a break and it was 60 degrees and rainy with no snow so I figured it would be good that I went out and drove it.

Just installed the Motordyne TDX2 on my 07 Nismo. With my HFC's, just wow. I'm running the Stillen supercharger on the stock pulley... WOT is brutal. Now I know why this exhaust is highly sought for... And the price. I ended up getting it used with less than 2k miles for $1,100. Installation was a pita. I don't think V-bands should be applied in this application. Having 2 bolt flanges makes it much easier to align. I still need to make an adjustment on the drivers side. Passenger side was a biznatch from the Y pipe back. It also did not easily align with my HFC's... Had to wedge some pieces of 2x4 to keep it in place while I bolted to HFC's.
My new rear wheel bearings arrived last night. I lifted the rear of the car and re-tested the current bearings and they seem fine. These will just go in my new parts bin, seeing as I don't plan to get rid of the car anytime soon. On inspection, the NTN bearings seem to be nice pieces and it's my understanding the car came with this brand from the factory - I know, that shouldn't instill any significant amount of confidence in them given their reputation for failure. The new hub seals are on the way from Amazon, so that should take... oh... 3 months or so.
There's still no rear clunk to report, so I think it's fair to say the loose left tail lamp assembly was the culprit. I'm betting it wasn't re-installed properly when I had my rear bumper re-sprayed last year and it slowly worked itself loose under the weight of the rear hatch. I checked the right side assembly and did a pre-emptive fix and re-torque to make sure that the problem doesn't eventually make its way to that side as well.
This weekend I'm taking a break from the car, except to drive it to the Cinerama to see the (not so) new Star Wars. I like seeing movies there because Paul Allen always puts out original costumes for his display from the first trilogy. Where else can you go to see Star Wars while buying your popcorn right next to the Darth Vader outfit from The Empire Strikes Back?

I dropped off my car to a local guy that does upholstery on the side, went back 8 hours later and had fresh seats. Going to be taking it back next weekend so he can tighten them up a bit, but overall, not bad for $180!

Your seats look a thousand times better, but yeah, they definitely need to be formed to the old cushions (assuming you didn't change out the foam).

Did my rear bearings a couple weeks ago, it was a major PIA to get them off the car as they had fused/rusted to the suspension hub.

I have an on-car bearing/hub separator that I'll try first and if that doesn't work, I'll just use my 30-ton shop press (whenever that shows up - they're saying there is a big delay in deliveries from the distributor in Chicago because of the weather).
I have absolutely NO desire to go at this job with a hammer. Even my slide hammer is more work than I'm willing to do.
I'll probably change out the bearings and races/seals at 50K miles, assuming they're not junk before then. I have 40K miles on my car now, and it'll probably take 2-3 years before I get to 50K, so it's not a rush job. I basically bought the bearings because they were on sale and I figured I'd eventually need them.
This weekend I washed the car because it was sunny and warm outside. Today it was raining, so the car's dirty again.

It's simply awesome and I have not played with adjustments yet. Keep in mind that my rear Pilot Supersport tires are worn down to 4/32 and starting to lose their grip. I do have 20k miles on those tires though.
In short, it's a monster! It's just SO much more capable and composed now. I put on sways at the same time. It's ruler flat through the corners with no lift or dive from accelerating or braking. And it's so supple at the same time. My wife can't tell any difference from stock, but then she's not tossing it around the corners. My younger brother put Tein EDFC active on his G35 and it was super-harsh even on "soft". I was so afraid it'd be harsh, but the shocks are valved perfectly for real-world driving. I couldn't be happier... It's the best of both worlds...
And of all things, braking is so much more improved. I was not expecting that.
I played with (Behind) an f30 M3 and he was not able to lose me at all. (Tight twisty back-road, mind you). But the F80 doesn't have enough tire IMO.
It's like a new car. I'll have to re-learn how to drive it once I get new sticky rubber and warmer weather and time to hit the back-roads. Although I don't think I'll be able to find it's limits on the street.

REALLY nice suspension setup you have, Ohlins makes awesome true motorsport coilovers/dampers. I'm planning on investing in some Bilstein B14 PSS coilovers next week or so, not as good as the Ohlins but They're still pretty good.

Check out z-car blog's post for more pics of my suspension install. ZCG is a great shop. They seem to have the Midas touch on installs. I was also afraid of clunks and creaks, but they've done these cars so many times, they know exactly what to do to prevent any such issues. We gain from their vast experience...
