Hm... I was thinking use the $250 to have a body shop remove the wing. To each his own I guess.

You're going about it backwards. Why not figure out what you really want to do with the Z and save enough money to make it happen. That's a whole lot better than spending a small amount of money on just any old thing that fits your budget.

apply that money to the principle of the car loan?

s31t8n8 Sep 27, 2009 07:16 PM

clear corners and shorty antenna?

and please get rid of that hideous grill

T-Stan Sep 27, 2009 07:16 PM

i like the wing, keep it. if you have the loan then thats a god way to spend it. but i think he wants some sort of add on

dave079 Sep 27, 2009 07:20 PM

Fail.

Don't spend money just because you have it burning a hole in your pocket. Save up, pay as much as you can on your loan, and then have your fun when you can really afford something you'll be able to enjoy.

Jay'Z Sep 27, 2009 07:54 PM

I know your not going to save it so..... Get a front lip....

nofearsuzki199 Sep 27, 2009 07:57 PM

its paid for..... i have sway bars... and i like the grill why does everyone hate those grills? but anyways ive looked in the 350z classifieds but i really dont know what kind of body kit to get ? would anybody kit look ok with the wing? or just nismo? plus there are holes upunder the wing where the people before me had a drift wing.... ghetto i know but it worked

Ok, I'll pick you out of the crowd. If OP presents the proposal that he has a "few extra pennies in his pocket" and wants to spend it on his car, do you think it's possible he has dedicated this money to it, on top of the payments, loans, etc.?

Why is no one willing to accept that he wants this money to go directly to mods? Also, if all of you took your own advice, there wouldn't be a need for this forum to learn and experiment.

Are you picking me out of the crowd simply because of my low post count? That's a pretty safe assumption, so I'll run with it. I think you're calling me out for the wrong reasons, but I'll play your game.

Maybe he's got his financial situations under wraps, paid off his car, and now wants to move onto modding it.

$350? Three hundred and fifty fcuking dollars? Really? He has no idea what he wants and is turning to the Internet for advice on how to spend his money. If he was on top of things and "dedicating this money towards his mods," then he'd know exactly what he'd want. He doesn't seem like he's got that straightened out just yet. That's why I said what I said. So why don't you run along now little boy, and mix back in with the crowd.

i mean shat cant get any answer just arguements... i mean i have 350 i wanna spend i dont have any use for it... i didnt know why everyone either has to down my **** or go totally off subject. i mean **** i just wanted to know what kind of mods i could get...

nismo_nate Sep 27, 2009 08:55 PM

you sure thats lowered already? your still sitting pretty high, but if you must spend your $350 on mods do what i'm going to do. get yourself a quickrelease steeringwheel setup

worksbell short hub: $160 (nrg is cheaper tho, just not JDM)
quickrelease: nrg $140ish worksbell $298
used steeringwheel from ebay: $60-100. i got my auth. nardi for cheap

hope this helps

Well you have basic mods already so focus on some small stuff. Clear corners, Shorty Antenna, Shift knob, Test pipes, or you could just keep saving and get something bigger. But with $350 i would just focus on some small stuff to make the car stand out. You could probably get everything i just named for like 250 to 300 bucks and still have enough to take your girl on a date.
