Grounding Kit for 2004's
 

I tried the search function and couldn't find much info on this.. I know that the 03 350Z's had a small electrical problem (rough idle, etc.) that a grounding kit fixed. Did Nissan ever fix this problem at the factory, or do the 04 350Z's also need this grounding kit?

i have a GK and it still idles funny sometimes but i have also adjusted the timing so the ECU may be trying to keep the idle lower while the timing is trying to run with a few more RPMs and it goes up and down about 50 RPMs once in a while. hell i don't know, but i do know that when I put the GK on, low RPM driving seemed smoother. i don't think the 04s are any different since this is not a problem any more than a lack of 500 HP.

This is not considered a problem by Nissan. Grounding kits are an aftermarket modification that will improve your car like so many other mods.

This wasn't actually a problem. It's just something that can be added on the improve the car.

The 2004's don't come with anything different.

2003-2004 is basically same.
