Default Can someone tell me what model this is?

http://www.autotrader.ca/result/adde...v=Ontario&r=40

this description and pictures kind of contradict themselves from what was mentioned in the top 100 common questions thread...

thanks,

its a base model with aftermarket leather seat covers. the description is wrong, it does not have cruise control or navigation.

Huh.

Looks like a base that someone put leather seats in.

Description says "cruise control". Nope, I don't see it.

Heated mirrors, traction control, power seats? Hmmm....sounds like a dealer who does not have a clue, or just uses canned photos in his ad.

That ad is so full of fail, here is a list of things that arent on the car but are listed as options:

Navigation System
Power Seats
Heated Seats
Spoiler
Traction Control
Cruise Control

Happens all the time. This one is absolutely a base (no steering wheel cruise controls, plastic pedals, manually dimming rear-view mirror, no TCS button, etc.), but I spoke to the dealer and they swear it's an enthusiast. Buyer beware.

hahaha, good to know i'm not crazy. well, at least not in this particular situation. i was looking at the description and it wasn't matching the pictures. i was sitting here scratching my head wondering what model this could be. thanks for the input guys.

now that my question has been answered, i'm going to redirect this thread in another direction. i live in ontario, canada. i've heard a few people mention that they've got a great deals buying a car from the states. can someone shed some light on the subject?

thanks,

+1

Price is several thousand too high! Plus they are misrepresenting this vehicle! I don't know how they can possibly trick someone into thinking it has nav, cruise control, and power seats...

Plus, I got my '07 last year with almost a year remaining on the B2B warranty and 22k miles for $21k.

thanks,
A friend bought a '05 TSX in the states and had a bit of trouble getting the required DRL's installed in Canada, but that was several years ago. Is that still an issue?

Nothing wrong with buying a base car, btw. I specifically looked for one when I bought my '08. But I knew the mods I was going to make, and paying extra for stuff I didn't want, or was going to trash, didn't make sense. Just don't overpay for whichever trim level you're looking at, and as these cars get older, the price differences between the different trim levels decrease, anyway.
