Driver's Seat Tilt & hatch opening

2 Questions on the new car.

Can you tilt the drivers seat forward without using the slow electric tilt? As if you wanted to get to the storage behind the seat.

Also is there a way to pop the hatch from the inside(not the emergency string) or is it only on the key fob or at the manual release from the back?

1)No. I am not sure about non-BOSE equipped models, but there is nothing back there anyway, but the Sub.

2)No, just the inside emergency release and the one out above the license plate and FOB.

About #2, considering the rear "handle" activates it electronically, you could probably get a switch and wire it up, bringing it to the front where most cars have the release. It would do the trick.

I have a small storage compartment behind the drivers seat.

Even getting into the box behind the passengers seat is not the easiest. Such is a 2 seat sports car.

Are you referring to the little rectangular one? If not and you have electric seats then there is no other compartment.

Behind the passengers seat there is a good size glove box, back of the drivers side is the small, long one. To get to the one behind the drivers side is slow because the only way to move the seat up is with the electric switch unlike the other side.
