Dip Tech and Who's Z is this?

I've been looking at getting a couple things painted/powder coated but in my never ending endeavor to find the end of the internet... I've found this place, Dip Tech. They have a pretty serious gallery and I noticed this Z and he had some work on the brakes that caught my interest. He had the hats done in CF which looks pretty cool

Here's the Wheel pic of the Z in question:

Here's a pic of Skulls on a LS intake mani that looks sick:

Has anyone on here had any work done by these guys? If so how's the finish and is it durable? I'm hoping to have them do my JAE Stock in Digital Camo when it arrives and probably some engine bay items.

Sick. Do it man.

Wow that looks pretty good!

looks like they do nice work

Looks like they did the calipers without tearing them a part. Isn't that a bad thing? :dunno:

I say go for it man. The whole water transfer printing is starting to blow up.

The bad thing, they are limited to designs/patterns THEY have, which means it won't be as unique. And some of them were down right stupid. The CF likes dope though.

I think they sell these as home kits too.

Ya a friend of mine here in Houston just had his wheel faces dipped in carbon-fiber stuff by Dip-tech. (s/n is "Mr.CF on here)

Havent seen them yet, his car is undergoing lots of work. The only thing i do know is that they are not cheap, but the end product looks beautiful.

I.... I like that..:D I'm curious how the CF will hold up with all the heat emanating from the rotors.

davids May 17, 2011 06:14 PM

I wouldn't use those rotors while driving and hell no on the track.

Does the "dipping" process weaken the material?

I had my Stillen Intake Box and my battery/brake fluid surrounds dipped in CF. They came out really nice, but with CF dipping if the piece is round or oddly shaped, then the pattern can come out stretched.
