Sad Day!

So after taking two months to find the perfect Z that I wanted and having it shipped from Virginia to Oklahoma...this happens...

I had my new Z for exactly 7 days when a guy decided to run a stop sign and hit me! Luckily he had insurance!

The damage wasn't that bad. Unfortunately, the impact bent some suspension pieces and scuffed up the rim that has to be replaced now...smh...

I sure am going to miss her...

terrasmak 06-17-2011 11:18 AM

That sucks, good time to get rid of the TSW wheels.

verdict. 06-17-2011 11:20 AM

Sorry to hear. It could have been worse, luckily the damage was not that bad.

they are incredibly heavy wheels.. far more than stock... and still a good deal more than most other reasonable wheels.

Makes a huge impact on cars such as ours.

wasnt meant as an insult.. just an observation .. and i can attest that heavy wheels make a giant difference. been there.

DirtyDan 06-17-2011 09:04 PM

Sucks man, sorry to hear about that. I've actually been thinking of downsizing my wheels for performance reasons. The TSWs look good though.

SchismX 06-17-2011 09:38 PM

Sucks about your luck. But now is your chance to make it better. ;)

good time for building a solid block for FI..... ;). at least you have the insurance to cover it! no biggie right?

Dr. Venture 06-18-2011 03:36 AM

how fast was the guy going through the stop sign? looks like he California rolled into you. A good buffing would get that out.

davidv 06-18-2011 03:39 PM

Its totalled. Time for a 370Z.

Duckeee 06-18-2011 04:55 PM

^ in davidland.

at least your damage isnt substantial. i only had my car for 2 months until some lady rear ends me causing $9500 worth of damage.

BoomerZ33 06-18-2011 06:55 PM

nothing wrong with TSW rims. yes they're heavy and spoke designs could be better. but it's a decent affordable alternative that i would prefer over replica wheels.
