What happens if you don't use premium gas?

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to use premium gas but what happens if you don't?

ari_gold Nov 30, 2011 05:27 PM

car goes boom

faiz23 Nov 30, 2011 05:32 PM

Your MPG might get affected and your AFR might be off due to the factory tuned for premium. Also you will notice a difference in performance and possible get detonation or pinging. Just stick with premium or else it will go BOOOOOM ;)

Cody750 Nov 30, 2011 05:38 PM

boom goes the dynamite

Dragons from skyrim come to your house

EDIT: "Mommy told me that an angel loses its wings every time that you don't use the proper gas."

Bmurray350z Nov 30, 2011 06:00 PM

damnit.. couldnt think of anything "smartass" to say.

kevininpo Nov 30, 2011 06:11 PM

You will immediately go from player to poser. Friends and family will no longer want to be seen with you in public. Women won't even acknowledge you are in the room. Is saving a few bucks at the pump worth it? (and I didn't even mention the BOOM thing)

I put 87 in mine all the time. No problems. Timing and AFR will adjust for the fuel, no worries.

Like a boss.

I knew a lady that ran her G35 for three years on 87 and never had issues

deezz Nov 30, 2011 07:16 PM

Me and my friends will slap the chit out of you and your dog, then take your Z.

pmab9918 Nov 30, 2011 07:21 PM

A Filipino midget will come to your house and force you to play tummy sticks with him.

zach711f Nov 30, 2011 07:35 PM

If you put 87 in nothing will happen. If your car does go boom, I think there was a bigger issue lurking under your hood. Spend a few more dollars and get the 91.

tkuntz Nov 30, 2011 07:40 PM

If its not premium ur engine will sound like a baby rattle, you'll hear your engine knocking and rattling. Or so a buddy of mine experienced.

Frosty87 Nov 30, 2011 08:07 PM

This will happen

Zhinobi Nov 30, 2011 08:22 PM

The car will go boom boom boom! then 10,000 years of pain...

terrasmak Nov 30, 2011 08:39 PM

Just don't do it on a tuned car, you will destroy your plugs. Non tuned car, loss of power, thats about it.

turkspartan Nov 30, 2011 08:58 PM

Your car will turn into a Maxima...
