So I think I've Finally Found a Z...

I previously owned a '98 Honda Accord V6 and now I'm looking into a 350z.

I've found one, '03 touring I believe, 6spd, for 13k with only 38,xxx miles on it. A huge part of me wants to believe there's something wrong with it because I've never seen one priced that low, but what really could go wrong in only 38k miles? :dunno:

DavesZ#3 Jan 5, 2012 04:30 PM

for an '03, I don't consider it priced that low.

Not much, it's just a 9 year old car. That's pretty old, but it's a Z so it's not like some fat college chick just let it rot out in the rain and redlined it on a cold start everywhere.

Just do it! Anything that might be going wrong would be worth the $$ to fix at that price.

No cel? Just risk it. You only live once.

I'm looking at pictures of the car and I noticed that it has aftermarket wheels (ugly IMO) and intake.I hope those wont give me any problems. I can't wait to pull the trigger and finally get the car

Ditch the rims if you hate 'em, someone will want to buy them. Short ram intake won't do much on or off, no problems with those usually...

any pics?

Photos? Link to advertisement? Something to spark my interest.

That looks really clean!

First, I see what you mean about the rims lol.
Second, that intake is fine, but it's a PITA to lift the car and clean the filter. Just sell it when you get it and replace it with a pop-charger (look it up, they're cool).
Lasty, white Z's are up there with pron in hottness, if you loved driving it, then get it!

Good luck with your search and decision.

Agreed, white is hot.

I would pass because it's a base, but thats really a personal choice.my 04 with 28k was priced a couple thousand higher. It's also winter, the market for sportscars in the north east fluctuates with the seasons.

I was under the impression that it was a touring...at least that's what the listing said

AroundMyHorn Jan 6, 2012 06:35 AM

Rims and grill are awful but it looks to be in good shape from what we can see from the small pictures. Good luck.

Yeah I know. The last owner clearly had zero taste

Apocelypse Jan 6, 2012 07:43 AM

Doesn't have the Touring rear spoiler (fairly new Z owner; that's all I know to look for to externally flag the Touring model).

TheSpencerPayne Jan 6, 2012 07:53 AM

Did theother trims have a nav and leather option? This one has nav and leather

I assumed it was a base because no spoiler, and the lights looked too blue to be stock hids. Rims are a quick fix, I'd grab it if it's what you want. Mine is a touring. Interior pics will confirm the trim, it should have the traction button on the bottom left side of the dash. Also take a good look at that front, the painted grille bars would make me wonder.

where in PA are you? I remember seeing this listing on craigslist and laughed at the wheels. Glad you dislike them as well.
