any major known problems on there? 109k miles for $9500 pristine condition....if not raced around and driven responsibly are these okay when >100k miles???

IMHO thats too much for that many miles, buddy of mine got his w/ 89k for that price from a dealer... i would search a little more

ambushphoto 01-08-2012 06:25 PM

Lol thats awesome. It's an auto... so you might get bored of it.

My main concern would be why he has the TWIN TURBO badge on the back of it when it is bone stock. Awesome.

i bought a rebuilt 03 enthusiast with 56k miles 6 speed and lsd for 8500, has tein flex coilovers and short shifter. drives straight, ill probably wreck it again anyway cause i like to drift but thats why i bought a manual

ashram 01-08-2012 11:19 PM

I had an 03 z which had 98k miles only issue i had was a bad window motor . get the transmission you want, i've yet to get tired of my automatic z.

JCITY 01-09-2012 04:48 AM

I'd buy it...
I've got the same car,03 touring,76k miles AT.No problems ever.
I bought it new. Many mods over the years.I gotta say, this guy has taken car of his Z.
In this area,at that price, the car would sell in a minute.
If yo buy it,ditch the twinturbo badge. Also, the rear deck lift/damper prob. is due to wore out dampers.Replace e'm for about 80 bucks.
Good luck.

Adriana never called me back about lunch. Any way how did the 350Z work out for you?

ronn1 01-15-2012 11:17 AM

That's one proud owner there...prolly the best example of an 03 out there.
Definitely worth the price..GIVEN THE PREVIOUS OWNER!

JedixSole 01-15-2012 12:26 PM

got my track edition with 110k miles for 9k.

you'll get tired of auto, but thats all on you.
goodluck

Personally I wouldn't buy it. In the end it's your choice, but you asked for what we thought, and that's my input. There has to be better Zs for a better price than that in your area. Too many miles and I wouldn't trust the condition it is in, plus it's an auto and that TT badge makes me think either the guy abused it trying to show off, or he's not the original owner, and the previous owner to him abused it trying to show off. just my 2 cents

titanium777 01-15-2012 02:05 PM

IMO, you should be a bit cautious about this purchase. High mileage on an 03, and with TT badge...ehh.

Heck though, it may be a great car and the price is attractive; it's your call.
I'd say it depends on how you judge the condition (interior, exterior, and esp motor)

dmorrow 01-15-2012 07:29 PM

Eh, save up some more and buy one with less miles. I bought mine from a dealer - 2003 6spd. 65k. touring so hid, leather, etc....Stock with 18" black wheels with 3" chrome lip.
total was 11k. So your not far away from that.
If you live somewhere like california or las vegas, new york, big cities....go elsewhere to buy cars....prices differ for areas.

Bober'z 01-16-2012 03:52 AM

the hatch looks misaligned on the passenger side

WHY NO TWIN TURBO UNDER HOOD WHEN SPORTING TWIN TURBO BADGE

I have not checked bluebook of 2003 350Z's lately but it appears to me to be a car that has been taken car of in an average way, not pristine. The guy detailed it to look nice but the bottom line is it has a lot of miles & interior wear & chips on the road indicate that.

About half of sports cars become 2nd cars or weekend cars thus it is possible to get a car with low miles on it for slightly more. Unless you have saving well over $5000 because of higher miles, I would suggest you pay a little more for a low mileage car.

Regardless if they owner claims it has never been driven hard, the fact he has a twin turbo badge on it tells me he is a want to be racer. BTW, have you checked, he could have installed FI & decided to part it out?

Remember, the cost of tires alone are quite expensive, not alone shocks thus buying a low miles cars can be the best bet.

Surg 01-16-2012 09:18 AM

Thats a good one. I got a similar deal, that one is even nicer.
8 months later no problems except window motor but I
think that is factory defect.
