Z was keyed...

Going Friday to check on the Z but I'm pretty sure with the way the weather has been the past 2 days they may be behind on the work. Yesterday my area got hit pretty damn hard with snow and the entire area was without power for over 16hrs.
Hope to get some pics Friday if they will let me.

Shop called Friday for me to come pick it up. Upon my ocd inspection I found the following.
1. Rough paint edge on the hood (Will be fixed)
2. A very tiny black spot under the clear on the drivers door (It's so small if it doesn't buff out it's no big deal at all because the guy said he'd have to respray that side)
3. Clear coat cracked on the rear bumper when it was put back on and was hard to see but I caught it (Rear bumper has to be repainted and re cleared and I was told 100% paint match)
4. Run in the clear on the bottom corner of the passenger side door and passenger fender (Will be fixed)
5. Very slight orange peel that I commented on and the guy who painted it said once he fixes everything he will block and color sand the car and buff it out to a mirror shine.
Besides those small issues it looks FANTASTIC! They sprayed 4 coats of clear on the car and when you touch the paint it just feels amazing and overall looks dripping wet. So hopefully I get her back tomorrow or Tuesday.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic... I don't own a fancy camera.

She's done. Picked her up day before yesterday...
No orange peel at all. They guy that painted it went back over it again for another cut and buff and fixed all the problems I found. The only thing they didn't do was clean the interior well... sanding dust everywhere!!!
Overall I am very happy and they are going to be painting my Nismo V2 and sides next spring.

your Z is awesome i wanted a white one but i was too impatient to wait ... my previous car was keyed pretty bad from the driver side door all the way down the quarter panel i felt horrible it was pretty deep... i sold it keyed.
i don't understand how people could just damage someone else's property with no remorse and find joy in it, pobrecitos.

Why didn't you throw the v2 bumper/sides on there and have it painted at the same time since you already have it? Even though you're getting more stuff, it's more things that you don't have to pay for to get painted and it's best to get everything sprayed at once.
Also I inquired about having my parts painted at the shop and they told me they would 100% paint match my Nismo front and sides.

Man, that sucks. At least the car looks good now. Here's one for the books. My neighbor's dog attacked the right front fender of my car. Did $600 worth of damage. The insurance covered it, but man was I fit to be tied. What is it with the Z? If it isn't a damned pickup banging into you, it's someone keying your car or in my case, a damned dog biting the front fender. Sheesh.
