Keep it or Sell it?
Simple opinion based question here. Keep the car or sell/trade in the car
Background:
Serviced by dealership for all regular service and maintenance and the problems
04 roadster, ~90,000kms, Auto tranny, extended warranty just expired.
camber arms front and rear, plenum spacer, intake, test pipes
Brief history of the bigger problems.
-Car gets 300km to a tank (cannot figure out the issue for this)
-slight tear in heat seal of convertible top. Not really a cosmetic issue, but does leak just a little bit. (unrepairable, requires replacement of top, 4k)
-Auto Transmission had clunk sound, replaced under warranty, still makes same noise.. (cannot figure out the issue for this)
-timing belt replaced under warranty due to this sound. Car still makes same noise. The owner in the video had his engine replaced under warranty, mine was not..
-Got into a small accident this summer, bent a tie rod and a wheel, but no body damage. Suspension on the driver side makes a clunking noise every so often. Dealership found that the rubber boots around the bushings on the spindles were torn. Replaced under warranty. The original noise is now accompanied by a new clunking noise when coming to a stop. Dealership and i have both examined everything under the car, its all on tight and in place. I replaced the shocks too (tocikos).
Opinions please. Keep it and invest upwards of 10K to bring it back. Or Sell?
I can do most of the repairs at home, besides an engine/tranny rebuild.

I be inclined to say trade it in to a dealer. They can fix all that crap cheaper than you could. As long as they give you a decent offer it's probably better than paying an arm and a leg yourself to fix all that stuff.

Sell it man, when dealing with these engines things get pretty expensive. My engine started burning oil on my last 03 and I know that I was going to end up paying almost the car's worth in fixing all of it's issues (engine, suspension, etc.) Sell it for what you can. Use the money as a down payment for a newer low mileage, one owner, clean carfax car.

Sorry that slipped. I meant chain. Regardless. The dealer is actually great. Ive had spindles/bushings replaced under warranty on a lowered Z, after an accident.
And they're also the go to for all the modded Z's locally. The infamous 420ZTT was serviced there, and the owner still takes his new 370 there. They let the local forum hold events at the dealership too.
Anyways, back on topic, was just in the garage and... oil leak. Too bloody cold tonight to see where from exactly. So maybe if i get time tomorrow ill get a better look underneath. But i checked the oil and its nearly empty..

No more verts, and my brother just bought the 2013 mustang today.. so thats out the question too. haha.
i was thinking more of a lightly used subaru wrx sti, or an evo if i can find a decent priced one.
