Vendor Feedback - http://www.conceptzperformance.com/

I ordered a JWT Pop-Charger Intake for my 2003 Nissan 350z. Upon receiving the product the shipping box it came in was in perfect condition and had no dents or cuts on it. I opened the box with excitement to see my new intake and was shocked to see a "Used/Damaged product" inside. I immediately contacted the " http://www.conceptzperformance.com " website and received this response " Those other scratches and dents should not be on there, but once you start installing it, you'll put your own scratches and dents to make it your own. Please remember, that he heat shield is not meant to be pretty, and can easily scratch and dent. I am not going to issue you a discount or refund. We ship these all the time and they all have scratches and dents". The problem is not the fact that the item might be seen that much because it's underneath my hood, but the fact they send USED/damaged products and don't mention it; What happens when you order a new Shift ***** from them and it comes to your door scratched and damaged. My car is a show car and it WILL be seen, that the heat shield as-well as intake/filter element has scratches and dents and is not considered "NEW" like they advertise. DO NOT ORDER PRODUCTS FROM THIS WEBSITE AS THEY CLEARLY SAY THEY SHIP DAMAGED PRODUCTS "AFTER" YOU RECEIVE THEM BUT CLAIM THEIR "NEW"

Thank me later when you choose one of the PLENTY of other websites and receive a "new" product

Wtf

Syner 03-07-2013 10:15 AM

Did you explain to them your car is a show car, so people will definitely be seeing it? If so, what was their response?

Pictures to back you up against a vendor since 2003?

Colourdeaf 03-07-2013 10:23 AM

Here are pictures, secondly his response is:
" we ship these out all the time and nobody complains and if they do, they understand that sometimes nothings perfect"

THIS POST IS TO SAVE YOU FROM RUNNING INTO THIS ISSUE, NOT TO PRODUCE HATE TOWARDS ANYONE.

pictures dont do the damage justice

You made it sound like they sent you something that was absolutely trashed. Though I will admit their response was a little unprofessional - if that was their exact response.

Not supporting them, but I would like to hear them weigh in on the issue and give their side of the story.

I respect that BUT, there are plenty of other websites and I would like to know some :)

I've dealt with CZP for a long long time, never an issue

logan09 03-07-2013 11:12 AM

I've ordered from them several times and have never had a problem. That sucks though about their response

superchargedg 03-07-2013 11:23 AM

Looks like it was installed before.

If I remember correctly, each piece of my new JWT intake was heavily wrapped in plastic wrap; how was yours packaged OP?

was packaged good, had plastic wrap to hold everything together and was all packaged up in nice baggys and was a paper coating around the element, i believe he sent me a DEMO product that has been used before

MUZZY 03-07-2013 11:33 AM

this is previously installed. I have dealt with them many times. I think there is soem missing information. Maybe item was out of stock and they said they had one leying around that was fine and sold it and that info never made it to the buyer or buyer dosnt remember them telling him.

Here's the type of packing I was referring to on these camshafts; I only bring it up because I got my intake directly from JWT so this should have been the type of packaging you had if it was in fact new/unused:

ZS14RR 03-07-2013 11:49 AM

Piece has definitely been installed before. Their response is complete BS.

zJames 03-07-2013 01:17 PM

did you get there name?

Coz@CZP 03-07-2013 03:06 PM

Hey Guys,

The JWT shields are not completely wrapped, and thye are shipped in Bulk and might hit each other causing scratches during transportation to our facility. They have always been like that. If the shield was mangled and unusable, I'd send him out a new one in a hearbeat.

X.et 03-07-2013 03:43 PM

Definitely looks like it has been previously installed. Not the quality I would be looking for in a brand new product. Sucks to hear they don't care to give you one in new condition, I'll be sure to steer clear of them in the future, thanks for sharing.
