Default 2006 350z help

i have not been able to take my car to a shop due to money reasons, so just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem to maybe figure out what the problem is.
The car will go into gear, but when you go to take off it just revs up like it is stuck in nuetral. Is this the clutch itself or maybe a shifter cable or something else?
any help would be much appreciated

Manual or Automatic?

If manual, does the clutch pedal feel fine?

its manual and when you push in the clutch everything is fine it even goes into gear just fine. Just when its in gear all it will do is rev up like its staying in neutral

Was this gradual where as you drive it would slip sometimes, and them got worse over time? My friend drove his Mazda 636 manual until it wouldn't move anymore lol he was able to get into gear fine but eventually he couldn't move and it would just rev bc the clutch wasn't catching as the disc was so worn out. His plan was to junk it after, bit he ended up towing it to the shop and replacing the clutch.

Does sound like a slipping clutch, and if it is, it will be more obvious with each higher gear you select.

Ya sure somebody didn't steal your wheels and leave the car up on blocks?

Sounds like your clutch is gone.

That being said... You burnt a clutch in two years? Might be time for some driving lessons

If the last owner rode the clutch (left his foot on the pedal all of the time) this could cause premature wear of the clutch, rendering it useless.
