Yes, it was my dream car.
I saved and saved and saved and bought it my freshman year of high school, now 10 years later, it's still my dream car. My next car will be a 370z but the 350z will always be my favorite. |

no it wasnt my dream car. it didnt take alot of work to get, 10 years of driving nothing newer than a 1988. but my dream car would be something costing more than 100k

Huh Deeznuts350?
|
i used to want a 94-99 eclipse GSX, then 350z, then a lancer IX/subaru STi. I'm happy with my choice. for now. :D

If your parents bought you your dream car your freshman year in high school, your dreams are lame.
|
Not my dream car for sure. It was the nicest sports car I could purchase and I have no regrets. Far from my dream car.
|
My parent's didn't buy it.

Not at all, actually never was even interested in getting a 350Z. My wife wanted one and I found an 08 with only 18,000 for the same price they wanted for cars with 80k-90k miles, so no way I passed it up. Problem was it is a manual, told the wife I could teach her to drive a manual, but she doesn't have the patience to learn, so I ended up driving it. Had planned on driving the 4X4 truck I traded the previous vehicle for(bought a boat and needed something to haul it with). I had a 03 Z06 Vette which was my dream car before the 350Z. The Vette is a better car in everyway, so much faster, handeled better, looks better(subjective). The 350Z has really grown on me and I really like driving it, its quick for what it is, but I'd trade it any day of the week for another Corvette, and plan on getting another Vette after the 350Z. The C5 Z06 is really my favorite body style, but if I can get into a C6 Z06 I might look into it.

I saw my first 350Z on an interstate. It came up behind me and I caught a glimpse of it in my side mirror. At first I thought it was some sort of new Porsche as it had a kind of European look to it (aggressive). I was in awe. I slowed and let it pass so I could check it out.
It wasn't my first "dream car" but it definitely had my attention. Now I happily own one. My first dream car was a 1971 Hemi Cuda (Plymouth Barracuda with a 426 hemi engine). The closest I got was a 1968 Barracuda convertible with a 383 magnum engine. Ah the good ol days. I love my Z. |

so nice...the review that Chris Harris does on those two is a moving piece

Ferrari F40 v Ferrari F50. Like You've Never Seen Them Before /CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS - YouTube I've watched many a Chris Harris review. I especially love this and the DTM video. |
Not even close. I would say a 1970 charger or Challenger, 15' Hellcat Challenger or a skyline R34 or r 35 would be my dream car. With that said I love this car more and more every day. It puts a sh1t eating grin on my face every time I drive.

I was in the market for an ap2 s2k but Couldn't find a clean one with low miles and close to stock.
Settled for a Z. They're cheap and I won't feel bad abusing it. With the S, I'd probably baby it too much. NSX is my dream car, or, 993 911 |
And why do people get their panties in a bunch if you're powered by mom and dad?
Who cares. I really don't need to know how you purchased your car. Not important. There's other things in life worth caring about. |
