Rolling fenders on a wrapped car?
 

Okay, so I just put my car in to get wrapped.

But.. I still need to get my fenders rolled, I'm aware the vinyl is tucked into the fenders and I'm scared when i go to get them rolled the vinyl will tear. Should it stretch fine if they use a heat gun when rolling the fenders ?

I really depends on that brand/type/grade of vinyl they are using for the wrap.

Some vinyl is made to only deal with simply curves while others can literally cover rivets with no air bubbles/tears...

I would contact the vinyl shop and ask exactly what they are using. And tell them to thoroughly clean/prep the lip because it is usually dirty and that will affect adhesion... Some shops will be lazy or forget. Just a headsup

Why didn't you just get them rolled before sending it in to be wrapped?

You'll be horrified as to how much crud and crap gets collected inside the lip and if as the owner you don't clean this area then there is no way that you're going to get a wrap to adhere to the inside of the lip.

You will melt the vinyl at the temperature that the fenders need to reach to not crack your paint underneath

bump for anyone else who needs the answer to this,

The vinyl will roll fine with no problems! The heat gun does not melt it and heats perfectly enough for it to stretch when the fender is rolled.

That looks like Sky Haze Green, same as on my '54 Ford.
