question about some noises I'm hearing.
 

Hey guys, I started noticing that when I shut off my z I hear like a rattling noise from my engine, as if my Baja l valves are loose or something. Any ideas? Also my clutch I'd sticking half way. Would my clutch plate l be going out, or would my clutch slave be going out? Any help would be amazing! Please and thank you!

Could be a loose heat shield. Our clutches are dual mass so it will make noise

Ya I kinda have the same thing I just went to try to do a spur of the moment trade in for a nice 06 3series and they said my car needs a new motor. Cuz of the noise. I told them there high. Most likely the exhaust or clutch

Flywheel chatter I believe. Mine did it when I had mine, and now it does it worse with a lightweight flywheel.. It is normal I'm pretty sure, feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Also my clutch pedal sticks to and I have 7k on the new clutch. Try a rebuild kit on the master cylinder.. Really cheap.

I agree I think it's normal. And to the dealer that said your car needed a new engine is on crack. I would leave them a negative review.

On my clutch, it sticks half way. I read that it's normal. Well in a way. To fix that, do I need a new tranny? Or just a new clutch plate? And the noise I hear after shutting down the motor, it's coming from the motor itself. Something I should be concerned about? It has 129xxx
