New owner in Sweden of a 2007 350Z roadster
Hi there.
Just bought a 350Z-07 that is imported to Europe from US. Is there any way to change the trip-computer from mph and Farenheit to km/h and Celsius, or do I have to live with it? |
Welcome and congrats!

i would imagine you can change it, however the cost to do so may not be worth it....
congrats on car, post up pics when you can |
Congrats!
Unfortunately you have to live with the MPH and Fahrenheit readings. I have a US car that was imported to Canada so I went through the same thing when I bought it. The only solution is to buy the new trip gauges which are a few hundred dollars (not worth it IMO). It's still annoying after 3 years but whatever. |
Welcome to the forum. There can't be many 350's in Sweden?

Nice to see another 350z owner here!
As written above you can change the mätarhus and cluster, not that expensive though if you get them from the UK but then you need to have one from a JDM 350z so that you dont get MPHs again :dunno: Im not 100% sure but read somewhere that the tripmätaren och miltalet vafan dom nu heter på engelska, are saved in the mätarhus (fan!).

Went to the UK last summer and bought one really cheap, cheap in the way that it had/has quality aftermarket upgrades and still was cheaper then a stock LHD. Only bad thing with UK cars is they can really not take good care of the body, scratches and marks all over. Like a cat fight. A nice little surprise for me picking it up was that the ex girlfriend of the last owner thought that it needed a nice long scratch from the hood to the trunk, via the roof.. |
Wow definitely different markets.
I think you should live with the mph and Fahrenheit. Idk why we use those metrics as the rest of the world is on the metric system. I think it comes down to Americans being lazy and cheap. I can't imagine how much it would cost to replace every speed sign lol. |

I wouldnt say they're common just yet but they're almost as common as Skylines (very common here) , also we've been blessed with both LHD and RHD Z33, where the RHDs are alittle cheaper. Unfortunatly some do, most dont. Luckily most of the ones driven in winter are sold from dealers here in Sweden which also means they got better corrosive protection treatment. UK sold ones though.. not so much.
