Woah woah woah, sorry guys! Not used to such an active forum!

The car DOES have a bulge in the bonnet, will take a picture in the light tonight when I get home from work.
It has the brembos, vcds button, and it does have the HR engine, redline @ 7500 rpm.

I have been reading mixed information about the HR engine regarding plenum spacers.

HR's do not use plenum spacers thats strictly for DE and Revup engines.

FYI

Perfect! There is my answer

As this thread has spiraled very quickly...

For sake of clarity...
DE = 6800 RPM
Revup =7000 RPM
HR = 7500 RPM?

Yup, i might be wrong but i thought DE was 6500..? either way you get the picture

Z1 performance has a ported intake plenum for the HR that a few people are testing out. Its not too expensive. Supposedly good gains if you port the lower plenum as well. Might be something to look into if your interested. I would work on suspension first though

Cool! I'm slowly getting my head around the new car/engine capacity..

1.6 litre miatas are what I know!!

Yeah I was just reading that thread on them.

Might be something to look into later.

Suspension wise, as a daily car/spirited driving car, I have to say, the suspension is pretty much on point for me.
Won't be touching that, other than bushings later down the road.

First thing to get done is get a little seat wear repaired from getting in and out.

Then I will probably look at getting a decent sound system into the car, just because the Audi that I have/had/need to get rid of, has an awesome bose stereo that is just fantastic

Oooh - that's not a bad thought!

I have the fun task of replacing all of my Miata's bushings this weekend..

That's going to be a of a task.

Sway bar isn't a silly idea at all..

I have to say, I am hugely impressed with the Z, fast, handles the road very confidently, feels planted in all areas, and a nice, tight gear box ;D

I like it.

Plenty of active members, plenty of resources for silly questions etc.

For example, I just found the simple fix of my trunk rattle.
