Because Nogaro Red is a beautiful color and should have never been covered in the first place :icon38:

Exactly. Plus it gets old driving a bright teal car around.

It did it's job, got me featured on a bunch of big car name pages on instagram and gained me about 1000 new followers.

Red is just so much more mean.

That red is a very nice and rare color for the z.

Teal is far more rare:P

Were there any spots that just wouldn't come off, or messed up the paint underneath?

Considering a wrap at some point, probably going to try matte.

I know when I dipped my older beater the dip left little bumps all over the clearcoat. I think vinyl is much safer and really should leave no residue nor issues under.

Also wrapping a car is pretty difficult as it takes perfection and time. The op car looked great in terms of install quality. The worst thing is to get a bubble or have it peel in a place.

Glad to see you're returning it to its original beauty! I never really understood the dip/vinyl thing but to each their own. Nogaro red is a really nice color.

Red looks better by far. You should really consider getting the amuse rear add on. It would look great and complete the look imo.

When you going to install it?

Well.. I got it from shine auto, there supposed to give me a call tomorrow. Hopefully they'll have it shipped out soon. I ordered a fresh amuse bumper as well. Going to be rocking stock front till I gets fitted and painted. :/

Whats wrong with the current one?

Well I bought it used and it doesn't fit the great where it meets the fenders. Plus the paint underneath the vinyl is really rough and the fangs are red.

So I'm getting a new one and painting the fangs gloss black along with the lip. Keeping this one for back up.

I had to use clay bar to get rid of residue. Look like you lucked out.

No I have a lot of the side skirts and in the door jams. Also around the fenders and the edge of the hood. I was going to use goo gone. Does clay bar work better?

One of the best things you can do after removing a large amount of vinyl is pay a professional detailer to claybar/wax/seal to bring out the best in the original paint.

I tried goo gone and became impatient after 30 minutes in one spot. Clay bar worked like a dream.
