indeed a lesson learned. Not sure why this community is so insistent on making dumb comments as opposed to actually helping as the thread is for. Ill keep you updated, i think i get word on total damages back today.

the main thing is...we have no idea how much it will cost for several reasons
- we arent adjusters or body repair people
- there are no pics for us to try to judge the amount based on visible damage

How are we supposed to actually help if you don't even post a picture?

For all we know, you could have hit a rock, destroyed your frame, block and transmission. There are too many variables and too few details. If you want a decent answer, pose a decent question.

It's just because there has been a large amount of young kids coming onto the boards asking very dumb questions and getting themselves into dumb situations. So the patience is thin for those typically unwilling to listen.

Don't take it personal or make it discourage you. We were all young before. When the experienced guys here give you information though, you should listen to it. They've been through it. Because when you get to our age, you'll completely understand

Hello OP,

Expert internet adjuster here, specializing in vehicle accidents without even seeing them. Based on what I've gathered here, there seems to be an extensive amount of damage to the vehicle. It's also an older model so not worth too much, which is why young ricers are getting their hands on them more often now and killing the scene.

I digress, but I'd recommend you get one of these to replace it:

Kindly yours,

yes i am aware of why it happens. However, it doesnt make it any more repetitive and useless to keep saying that what i did was dumb.

isnt there a stickied thread somewhere explaining that the reason this site exists is because they did not like the rude nature of other car and Z forums so they made this one? i fail to see the logic in posting these kinds of comments. I have gotten the information i came looking for.

The only dumb thing you did was expect a thorough/accurate answer from a vague question. We all make mistakes.

I never expected an accurate answer. I basically asked for educated guesses and what people thought I should do. I got said information and I am good now.

This. ^^^^^^^Anyone can get in a crash, I did it in the snow the 1st year i had my Z and I've spun off the track, at speed a couple of times. Thankfully no damage on any of them but I was just lucky. And I passed "kid" stage before most of you were born lol.

Also pretty rude of your Dad to check your text history huh?

I don't even understand the point of this comment. Is it just a feeble attempt at trying to be rude?

My lighthearted attempt at trolling. Just razzing you man.

I just found it funny how you were calling Dekker rude and then saying your dad thought the exact same thing in the same breath.

Good luck with the car though, and be careful.

Thinking back at some of the **** I did at 16 is just plain scary now...

You obviously didn't finish typing and sending your useless text because you crashed your mid performance sports car doing only 5mph over the speed limit resulting in the tire bead breaking from the rim which usually requires around 1.5tons of force to a specific part of the tire when it's DEFLATED.

My cheaper tire changer will not even break a bead of an inflated low-pro tire with 120psi hooked up.

sounds like you were distracted with your phone for those "3 seconds", texting isn't the only distracting feature of a smart phone. You are very lucky you didn't hurt yourself or someone else. Whatever distracted you, let it be a lesson learned.

As for damage, as many have mentioned it's impossible to tell without pictures, but check all of the suspension components.

Believe what you wish. It makes no difference to me whether you believe what happened or not.

Just got initial news from the shop. They haven't done a full inspection yet but believe I am looking at a new tie rod, tire, front bumper, and front fender liner.
