dare I say it... Solara convertible. I didn't really follow the Z, by chance as I was looking art the solaras, I found a Z and then spent the next year researching.. rest is history.
I see those solaras and realized had I bought that, I'd be an extremely depressed individual, a lot of gray hair, and a broken hip by now.
I had one of those... you dodged a massive bullet. I owned the car for six years, Within that six years, the Motor was replaced 4 times (not rebuilt, replaced), Trans twice, Diff once. That car was an absolute catastrophe, and it was heartbreaking because I wanted to love it. I've never in my life had a car that was as bad as the M45. I spent so much time tracking down the color and options I wanted, and what I got was a pile of red scrap metal with an Infiniti badge on it. I reached out to Infiniti numerous times looking for any form of help and all they ever told me was that my VIN number didn't exist to which I assured them that the car did indeed exist, but all I ever got was a "sorry can't help you." I'd venture that it spent almost a year total at the dealer. It was always properly maintained, and never abused. Eventually the 4th motor started to smoke, I'd had enough so I dumped it at a Carmax for whatever I could get for it.
Unbelievable man thats so crazy that nissan built this pos and then pretends they didnt. Glad you got out of it.
i looked at mustang 5.0s. dealership guy was an *** and tried to get me.into a v6 after i made it very clear mustangs shoukd only have a v8. Mustang v6 forum guys beleive the v6 is as good as a v8, and are extremely stubborn and uneducated.And pretty much made mustangs look like high school chick cars to the comon driver. 350z was the badass v6, no bs car i needed.

I was driving a solara as my DD (hardtop though, not vert) before buying my new DD. It was reliable and got the job done, but I bought something that's worse on gas, isn't as comfortable, doesn't ride as smooth, has significantly more cabin noise, but is 100x more fun to drive. Life is too short to drive a soul sucking vehicle everyday.
