Thoughts on this Maserati/Porsche 350z Kit?
 

Just wondering what you guys think of this Z with a Maserati front end and Porsche rear :dunno: ...

I wouldn't either, but I think it looks good and the money was obviously put in to have it done right. What pisses me off the most is it says "Porsche" on the back.

Seems like a waste of automotive parts...

When I saw those pics, this is what I instantly thought of/remembered ~ same concept.

They should keep all emblems off I'm sure for whatever they invested in doing all that they could have got a **** box boxter that would cause many good head akes.

It's different, that's for sure. Practical? Definitely not, but then again aesthetic mods are only tailored to personal taste. So I guess if the owner's goal was to differentiate his Z from everyone else's, then he did a pretty great job.

i like the shaved doors look... thats about it.

I think the person that did that needs to be removed from the gene pool. What an abortion. So glad I got rid of my '99 Civic, I mean 350Z years ago.

A lot of money was spent on that.... SMH

Are there any more pictures of this car because it looks like a render? If it isn't i am very impressed by the work then went into it even if it looks like barf.

if that is a 350z hatch (unmodified) that wing/spoiler is a pretty nice piece on its own.

I find it insulting to Mr K and all Z owners, esp bmccann101.

The Z has a perfectly good lineage, and an excellent reputation for overall reliability. Bang for the buck, there are few that can compete.

It's almost being a poser.. If you get a nissan Z, why try to change it into something it's not?
Having said that.. It's very well done and actually looks kind of good even though I don't want to admit it.
Not something I'd drive but to each their own and I'm sure whoever owns this has a lot of money into it and really likes it so all power to them.

the rear flare is by far the most subtle and more complementing of the Z's body lines I've seen without making it look wide!

I like the rear. Can't say I'm a fan of the front, or Maserati fronts in general. Looks well done though, aside from putting "Porsche" on it.

Why not at least have the front and rear match?

Aside from the identity crisis, it baffles me why this person felt the need to attempt creating something it obviously is not. (Same way I feel about people who do this in other aspects of life.... why let your insecurities get in the way of being who you are? :icon22:)

The stick 350z body is beautiful... Spend money under the hood or wheels and tires and some track time... No some poser kit
