I just couldn't help myself..

I don't get the car for another month or so, but this was just so tempting. I ordered the "Rainbow Effect" HID Headlights for my Z. These lights are the same lights which come on the Audi's. For those who have no clue what I'm talking about, they change color from green to blue to purple in different angles :) Woo! I'm excited!

Is there a point to the color shift or is it just show? Is it an intentional trait of the lights, or just a side effect?

Just curious.

So you ordered new HIDs then decided (see most recent thread) you might get a 1993 Supra instead. I say get the Supra and go flood the Supra forums with hundreds of posts and leave J's bandwidth for serious Z people.

Is it really H.I.D. or is it just some colored riceboy bulbs?

One night i had a car run up behind me on route 80. i looked behind be and see some weird headlight design, the guy then flashes his high beams, and produced a rainbow spectrum incredibly beautiful and impressive. i moved over and i heard all engine. a beautiful ferrari 360 modena. The HIDs had that affect and if it can be had on the z, I would pay top dollar for it.

Ricky, where'd you order them from?
