I have been trying to find out.. all I can say is i raced two hr from a roll
and won. Any know the difference between the two like hp and torque?

Faster in what? Straight line? Track? Endurance?
Theres more to a car than just being "faster" and the term "faster" is assonine.
A car can have "faster" acceleration but still loses in the 1/4

Im not 100%, and many og members will have a better answer, but heres my go at it.
The nismo has the hr motor in it. It also has a full functional body kit which generates more downforce.
Down force also generates drag and the extra body lit weight it down. On paper, the nismo version SHOULD be a slower car than the hr.
HOWEVER, paper numbers and real world numbers are different. In the 1/4 the difference between a nismo and an hr is neglected when you factor in driver skill, driver weight, full tank of gas vs near empty.
Over all, the nismo IS faster in the corners since it does have a better aerodynamic and better handling, however, in the 1/4 the nismo and the hr are so close in performance, that its really a drivers race.

What *might* give the Nismo a slight edge is the stiffness of the body/chassis/suspension allowing it to hook up slightly better from start AND top end being positively affected by ever-so-slightly-lower coefficient of drag (Cd) and the absence of lift due to the improved aero. For reference: All models 350Z (exc Nismo) have a Cd of .31 and Nismo is at .30.
Real world though, there's no difference. It's more likely a weight and/or driver factor (quicker reflexes on the loud pedal) and/or "state of tune" that you won.

What do you want out of the car? Just high hp? A faster 1/4 time?
Like trav said, not alot of turbo options, but they are out there. You need to do your research, figure out what you want/need. Price the parts, double/triple the price if youre doing the work, 4-5x the price if a shop is. And go from there.

Yes hp... I am part of a race team. we race streets 1/4miles.
I have seen videos of 350z that have turbo, are they not the HR's?
My guy said that it should be easy to attach to0 or where the intakes go.
I have money.. just want to make sure i dont do something stupid.

Secondly, yes there are options out there, just not alot.
3rd if money is no object, you might as well slap a powerglide in, faster shift therefore better 1/4.
4thly, reasearch, this forum have covered it all, try googling your question and adding "my350z" at the end and 99.9% of the time, youll find the thread you need.

I know this is knit picky.... sorry but the track models have wheel well inserts that lower the drag as well down to .30.
The only thing your nismo really has besides top speed killing aero (also weight), is the stitch welding every where on the car and a few extra stiffening bars and 2 dampeners Making the car a load stiffer. I'm assuming high milage on the cars where none of the suspension has been changed out would negate any of the gain from having a slightly better spring and damping rate as they have probably needed to be rebuilt / replaced a while ago.
