Default Racelogic Traction Control gone?

Went to look up the Traction Control unit from Racelogic being distributed by GTM. Today I can't find anything about it. Nothing. JUST when I finally saved up the $2,300 to get it from GTM.... what happened?

Um..... Yea? They are a supplier of Racelogic. Unless the rock I've been under for the past year has prevented me from seeing another company that's closed shop and went off the RADAR due to scamming or something.

Is there something I'm missing? Is this a test, sir?

I vote fat back tires, a good clutch, and drive time. Put that $2300 to better use

What EMS are you using?

Haltech Pro Plug In is very nice if you have wheel speed sensors in your car already. I have very aggressive traction control when the VDC switch is on. I gained 20 mph in the 1/2 mile turning VDC off but it did control the spin when turned on (800 whp on RE11s). Very nice and controllable on the street.

I have a Haltech redtop piggy-back. Got it from Rob @ Top Speed in Alpharetta, GA. He said it was updated with the newest firmware. I still have about 50% faith in it.

So with what I said.... could the Haltech non-piggyback redtop be able to handle Traction control? If not, I may just upgrade to the Haltech Platinum Pro since I'm assuming it WILL handle traction control.

I have forgotten if the red box has access to the wheel speed sensors. If so, you can retard ignition per cylinder but that is about it and it will be fixed (i.e. you would not be able to turn it on/off with VDC like I do). It is not as flexible as the Pro Plug in.

EDIT: The Pro Plug in is not compatible with a 5AT. 6MT only. Just fyi.

So am I better off adding a Racelogic to the redbox setup? Or just go with a Platinum Pro? Trying to keep cost down and get as much functionality as possible.

Bishop what did you decide?

I have platnium pro with quaife LSD so wondering how i can make best use of traction control / launch control settings the race logic had.

All parts still sitting in a collection waiting to be installed. It'll be a monster build. I have too many people say the Red-Top has traction control (since it was updated to the latest firmware) so I think I'm going to install without it and see. If I need it, then i'll add it. I contacted RaceLogic and they had a few generic 6-cylinder units still available, so I got 1 of the last 2 or 3 they had. I'm happy I grabbed it as a backup in case the red top doesn't do traction.

I'll keep you posted.

What you pay for it? and does it come with the gtm style ecu lead. Why did they discontinue

Do you think the platnium pro can do a good enough job compared to race logic

For the price of the racelogic...just go with a stand alone haltech. You get your engine control and traction as well as IO expandable, launch control ect
