Post from Dubai to Russia

Gentlemen,

I never thought that i will be selling my 350z and 370z, and moving out of Dubai, let alone settling down in Russia.

So here we are again shopping for Zs. hoping to get a nice clean car, no matter how challenging it may prove to be.

enough of that.

here's the situation, i saw a nice 2008 350z with the whole works, brembo, heated leather seats, rays 18", and cruise. i ran a vin check, and the car is european, as it should be.

when i look at the report, there's a place that mentions Version: "350zpack"
did any of you guys come across something like that ?
furthermore, seats and brembo brakes as well as the steering wheel and the rims can be changed.

how can we spot the trim level or the exact model of the car. short of putting it on an industrial scale, because documents from the russian dmv could prove inaccurate.

attached is the vin report i bought online.

um, that is weird

using the forum tool it says the vin is invalid

https://my350z.com/forum/vindecoder....GBAZ33U0320852

odd results from google too

vindecoder.net = invalid, 9th digit it says ("3")

vindecoderz.com = valid, although it says year 2014 but production date 01.2008 (mine correctly shows 2003)

decodethis.com = invalid

gates.com = invalid

carfax.com = invalid

vehiclehistory.com = invalid

my vin works in every single one as a comparison

This is because it's a European vin. This is my best guess.

Those VIN decoders are generally useless on our Z's, at least as far as I have seen. Perhaps contact Nissan directly, or maybe a dealer, for more info on the car.

Try Nissan parts Europe. Type in the VIN #.

This is exactly what I did. And the result came back to be 350zpack on the trim level. Attached is the report I received. Do you have any idea what that means ?
