Default Can we have a Craigslist "Z Funnies" thread?

I can't ever stop feeling amazed at how stupid some of the Z guys on CL are, whether it's parts or a car they're selling. I actually browse CL maybe a few times a week, just in case an interesting part comes up, but I enjoy reading the car ads, too.

This genius has a "2006 350z Nismo". What's wrong with these pics?

Nismo? 2006? Looks like a 2003 Base to me, but what would I know?

This one is pretty awesome, too. Listed as a "35th Anniversary", "pushing way over 400hp". It's also got "Custom Euro beamed Head Lights", "Custom 940s porch rear vents cut into body installed and molded in", and even "Nascar 15-50 weight oil Synthetic since day 1.

OK, last one. Yet another "35th Anniversary", just like all 2005's on CL, apparently. Ad says, "MUST SEE THIS BEAUTY... INTACT MATTE FINISH EXTERIOR PAINT".

So, that's my comedic post for the evening. Ther are just so many more ads like these, but that's enough from me. Feel free to add more CL funnies from your area to this thread.

Well... here is one that I enjoyed. Got scammed in the process.

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/pts/5847291706.html

Guy claims to have an authentic HKS BOV for sale. I asked if it really was authentic and he said yes. Drove an hour to pick it up... i used the guide:

http://www.velosterturbo.org/forum/p...de-photos.html

Went home and did some more research. Since it came with the adapter... it makes it fake.

This is my favorite because they spam the ad every week.
http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/ptd/5851952663.html

I particularly enjoy the 05 base brakes for sale for over $1000 just for the calipers. That's brembo money... Then there are the base model 17" wheels mislabeled as touring wheels and a $1000 price tag. He's been sitting on these parts since last year, guess he just can't find the right sucker...

I would say a screen shot so people dont need to click the link would be good.

But sometimes a screenshot doesn't capture the entire awesomeness of a posting.

But will give a general idea... For those that didnt know g35 and z33 body parts are mostly interchangeable.

Edit

"S line" badge in front grille
Audi produce a specification of optional sports trim packages to their mainstream models, known as the S line. This is merely a trim specification which allows customers to effect a sporty appearance in their mainstream Audi model. Whilst the specific S line trim parts are designed and produced by quattro GmbH at its Neckarsulm factory, these mainstream cars are still manufactured and assembled by AUDI AG at their relevant factories on the same production lines alongside their other standard models.

Cars with S line trim are not to be confused with the specific high performance offerings - the "S" models (made by AUDI AG), and the "RS" models (made by quattro GmbH); Audi cars with S line trim bear identical performance figures to their counterparts with base or SE trim levels.

Great thread idea OP. That second one is an absolute gem.

Be good if people could Please copy and paste / post the ad here if possible as some of the ads got/get removed. Just a suggestion.

Here's a beauty, No worries it has a "clean title!"

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/5841423802.html

Here's another gem... No expense spared in the maintenance! Wild price for an 06, which appears to be a base model.
"...UV ray tinted glass, alarm system, Kenwood DVD GPS sound system 6 aftermarket speakers...Viper alarm system, Blacked out spider head lights..." and yet somehow "NO HACKERS HAVE EVER TOUCHED THIS CAR!!!"

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/5821549346.html

Sketchy "Authentic 2007 Nismo 350Z." I didn't realize they made 2-tone Nismo 350Zs. Not a single interior shot either.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/5795737014.html

This one is just, well to each their own...
